WeWatchedAMovie I have mixed feelings about this movie. The final twenty minutes are great but the ending is demeaned by Resurrection. I still feel they should have tied it into the Thorn Trilogy. Made it that Laurie faked her death and gave up her daughter and is trying to protect her son later on after deciding she couldn’t give up a second child. It would have been easy to do and was apparently the original plan and then changed during script writing. The Thorn trilogy has its issues but after working so hard to make something out of the mess that five created they should have concluded that storyline in a way that it deserved. I’m with you guys in that six is very underrated. I still feel if there was a cut edited between the Theatrical and Producers cut that would be far more satisfying than either version we got. This movie has some good moments but it’s such a 90’s horror movie and that has its good and bad points. By the way, I’m a new subscriber in the past three months and keep up the good work guys!

I saw this in theaters with my mom and stepdad. Literally had a ball. And it was packed too! I still have memories of seeing that with the music and people jumping out of their seats.

Two ducks fucked on the back of his head & left it straight up. I died on that part. 😂😂😂 Great review guys. H20 in my opinion was the last good Halloween movie out of the rest of the series, because don't get me started on Resurrection. I went to see that one in theaters back in 2002 & I was sooooo piiiiiissssssed. But H20 had it's ups & downs, but it still gave you something worth watching. I wished they would've kept the H6 mask in the movie tho. It made Michael look more menacing, intimidating, & didn't & I repeat didn't show his dam EYES.

You can’t match the feeling of being in a theater and seeing this movie. We had waited since 6, which we thought killed the series and we got not just Laurie Strode, but when Michael first came on screen the theater I saw it in, we all screamed it was awesome. I can’t take the movie out of the context that I loved seeing Michael and Laurie together again. Even today I love the past 10 minutes of this film! Best ending!

Your videos are amazing. It's like you show what we wanna see but also have little scenes with Michael thrown in which makes me love it more. I watched Halloween on tv in 1999 I think. I snuck downstairs to watch it with my sister and when I watched it it was amazing. I loved it. Definitely holds up. I was 6/7 years at the time. I'm 26 now.

I have to admit, I kind of enjoy the orchestra rendition of the theme. At the time being ,20 years from the original, I felt it deserved the time and investment. You have to remember, this was during the The Verve/"Bittersweet Symphony" takeover during late-90's, hearing a bit of it throughout "Scream 2" as well. Nice video, guys.

H20 shouldve been a shortfilm or tv special. In comparison with the rest of the Halloween timeline(s) not much really happens. It is still appreciated tho, far easier to enjoy than Resurrection.

I love this movie. First and only Halloween film I saw in theater. JLC is so awesome in this. I liked Josh Hartnett and Michelle Williams characters and John stride dynamic with Laurie. Best third act of the whole series and the Jamie vs Michael showdown ending with the shit🔥 Only downsides where not enough Michael and hated all his Masks. I wish they had kept Jamie Loyd and had DH interact with JLC. I miss Dr.Loomis. Wish JGL was in this movie more. Loved the small amount we got of him in the beginning I still love this movie. My second favorite of the series after Halloween 4 Love you guys so much😘❤️I will watch any and all content you two put out. You guys are the best

Fun Fact: The Opening scene of Halloween H20 is actually showcasing the appearance/return of 'Nurse Marion Chambers' (who told Loomis about Laurie's file) from Halloween (1978) & Halloween II (1981) with the EXACT same actress 'Nancy Stephens'.

I always thought the artist drawing rendition of Michael Myers image(the one you show here) in this film looked like Ben Tramer's mask before he was pinned between the cop car and the van in Halloween ll. Myers playing ball in his orange sweats was classic.🎃

I agree with you guys a lot, I truly loved this film when I was younger but I just watched it recently and it’s very dated, the last fight scene was easily the best part, they went along with the late 90s let’s be hip and cool theme that scream set the bar for 2 years before, I definitely enjoy the original 2 and 4 way better, btw Halloween (2018) was fucking awesome, great review.

The scream feel could come from the fact that Chris Durand who played Ghost Face played Michael in H20. Met him this past week at H40 Con event.

Honestly, I would have preferred a sequel to Halloween 6 based on Daniel Farrand's original idea of the film taking place on the same night, Michael and the police hunting Tommy, and a conspiracy involving Thorn. I enjoy H20 but it just doesn't feel like Halloween.

I'm with J all over this H20 discussion. I get Mike's thrills at the specific moments he indicates but I always craved MORE from that movie and that never felt like an impossible thing to accomplish.

I totally understand where you're coming from but I disagree, this movie was awesome, only thing that didn't make sense were the masks and ucemity (spelling) I mean what school takes there students camping on Halloween I loved that the movie felt like Scream, Kevin Williamson is a badass writer, the 90s was the best decade in horror my honest opinion The ending was perfect and the whole series should've ended with this movie

This was the first Halloween movie I ever saw, so nostalgia is strong with this one. Nowadays, I do watch the opening kills, skip to the bathroom and then skip to all the kills in the end :p I still love the movie, but I agree with most of your points, especially now that I'm decently versed in the Halloween franchise and what Michael should be. It might be something personal to me, but the Michael actor's body language is hot af XD Idk, he is fluid though, even if he's far from Nick Castle.

I don't care what people say about the mask or the music in H20. As far as I'm concerned, H20 is still the best Halloween sequel. Its definitely the best, most dignified ending for Michael and Laurie than Halloween Ends. If you want more proof, a KZfaq re-scored scenes from H20 and it made a great Halloween movie even better

H20 is easily in my 'Top 3' for the Halloween Franchise. I think it did suffer from studio interference. To be honest, there isn't a single Halloween movie that I don't love (Rob Zombie excluded). I like Zombie's 'Halloween' overall and would've liked, possibly even loved it, had he cut the whole first half with young Michael. I want to like Zombie's 'Halloween 2' but that's definitely my least favorite of all the Halloween movies.

If you pause during the bathroom scene,or play it slow as shit it's also the alien mask,if you play it normal speed then it's actually not bad obviously,you can also see the alien mask if you play the movie slow or pause it towards the end when she stabs him with the flag

I used to use pomade. It's awesome stuff. Is that what Mike used to get the swoosh in his hair? I used to be in a Horrorcore-esque Hip Hop group and in our two music videos we made I used pomade to get my hair into a buzzsaw like creation. If you wanna check it out, I'll send you the link. Oh shit that Pumpkin is killer. Is that ceramic. Anyway that is nice they took their time and did a great job on it. Very nice. H2O for me was good in the first ten minutes but when they get to California it seems like a episode of Dawson's Creek and insert Michael Myers with a fucked up mask and he doesn't seem scary. Had some good scenes, my favorite is when Laurie is standing there and sees him walking from far away, closes her eyes then opens them, he's still walking then she does it again and then her boyfriend scares her. That was cool. The music is bad the movie is just not up to snuff compared to the first two. But next to 3 thru 6 it's ok. I have it in my complete boxset blu Ray set and I don't know if I've ever watched it yet. I usually go to 1978, 1981 and then 1988. Curtis was great, Josh Hartnett was good. Good beginning and nothing really stands out. Was bummed out when I went to theater back in 1998. But it wasn't as bad as wheb I went to halloween in 2007 and 2009 that I cant ever get back.

Laurie's picture being under the "Class of '78" banner in the yearbook makes no sense. You don't graduate in December, you graduate in May/June. It should have said Class of '79. The first movie clearly established she's still in high school.
