I feel the pain of a low producing well. 400' deep, pump is set around 350', 1.5 gallons a minute, with about 300 gallons available. Been dealing with it for over 30 years and we even have an inground pool. Had water trucked in for the initial fill-up but very mindful when adding water by doing it gradually so the well can recover. One of the biggest users of water is the wasing machine. Went with a front loader that uses about a1/3 of what a top loader needs per load. I don't mind so much the lack of flow as long as the supply is there. If that happens, fracking will be my go to solution. Which, btw, never even heard of it being done with residential wells until I saw it here.

In one place I lived here in south Louisiana, most of the wells were artisan wells and not over 100ft. Water was pretty good with some iron but not excessive. Some people would have the driller go to the 1200ft aquifer for supposedly better water. I could never tell the difference in water quality and their filters were just as dirty at the same change intervals.

would love to know your thoughts on the water situation @GhostTownLiving has, The current main source of water on site is 700' down the mine shaft, Theres an old (dry) spring of some sort on the surface 2500 feet from town which is 500ft lower than town, and the original spring for the town is 3.6 miles north west at +700 ft in elevation from town. People are constantly in his comments saying "just drill a well" despite the fact that its a barren mountain range on the edge of death valley. The only accessible place i would think you would have a CHANCE of hitting water is about 1000 feet up the road from the old dry spring, and your already drilling down 200' to get to the same level as said spring. Also, you might be equal parts interested and horrified in the collection / pump system thats in the 700 level of the mine.

I don’t use the well often ( lawn watering only because water is muddy) but I left it powered for 2 days and now the 9 yr old pump is burned out. Could the absence of the control box be a factor? @Ycat_oe Ай бұрын
@@mwiz100 nice, yeah a tank is mainly for extra storage and good for low performing bores, so you can maximize your water collecting efficiently when you are not using water( when on line) and bladder tanks are to take the pressure drops out of the system so a pump doesn't kick in and out when there is a little water usage or leaks

Yes Sir man the dry dog food literally slowly kills our pets! We learned this the hard way too, and now that's all we feed our animals is real foods that can be identified as food and not a nutrition barren kibble! There's many vitamins and minerals missing including the fatty acids, essential oils, which all living things require for life! The first thing we noticed was the hips & knees, elbows, and walking become an issue with dogs. Our dog had no previous joint issues and was ruled by the vet as A-typical Arthritis, yet she's not old enough yet technically to have this problem to the point she couldn't walk up steps anymore! No Lymes Disease and nothing else genetic to place the blame on? Outside of 1 thing! Diet? We started her on Fresh Pet food and within a week she was almost back to her old self and has been making a slow recovery since. Unfortunately there's some levels of damage that occurred that isn't fully reversible, but she's probably a Good 85% better than she was, just from her diet alone, and yes she's lost weight and her skin irritations have vanished as well as making her coat nice and shiny and soft again as well. Just tons of incredible benefits for your loved ones! They're living beings too and require the same kind of nutrition for the most part as us. We'd probably all die young eating nothing but grains or cereals for each and every meal too?! SMFH! But glad to hear about your pup making a good recovery after that snake bite ordeal! Scary stuff bro! Hate snakes man!
