You are MUCH MORE kind than I ever could be about a comment like this. I read that and got physically ill. Ppl think hating kids is a cute lil personality trait but it’s really just sad, pathetic, and bigoted. It’s unhinged that ppl think it’s acceptable to be so vocal about hatred of an entire class of humans. But again, you were much kinder than I ever would be.

So true about the connection between childism and folks who hate their own inner child. I find it very sad. It isn't easy to heal from childhood trauma, but so worth it. Something I've found in my own process is that building up the inner loving adult is just as important as working directly with the inner child. Patrick Teahan has a lot of excellent resources for healing childhood trauma, including a really cool exercise for dialoguing between the inner child and inner adult. You've clearly done a ton of work on yourself and your own inner child. If at some point you'd be willing to make a video about your process, resources you used, etc. that would be awesome and I think really helpful for a lot of people. Though I totally understand if that's too personal. I'm just wildly impressed by how confident, wise and compassionate you are, seems like even more so of late. Just made me wonder how you got there.

I wonder if the reason some people “just don’t like children” is so they can have a bad opinion of ALL humans. Because the thing for me is that I would abandon caring so much about people if I didn’t care so much about the children. And caring about humanity is making me crazy.
