It takes time for teams to adjust to new players. However once they get more n more chemistry with Haaland, it will be very dangerous for the rest of the league. Haaland gives them different options to be direct instead if building for a long time. He has great attitude professionalism and desire as well.

With regard to Haaland and whether he makes the team worse or better, I think Pep Guardiola said it best the other day. He said that the problem is with both the team and Haaland. He said that sometimes Haaland isn't doing what he needs to do, making the runs or helping the team, and that sometimes the team is getting the ball to Haaland when the ball needs to be given to Haaland. The example is the first leg with RB Leipzig, where Haaland was being ignored. Pep said that was an issue that the team needs to address.

"With Haaland there is one less silky creative player with movement and linkup play.... the football migth be better and more creative without him in the side". I feel people are missing a point here besides all of his goals. Alvarez. Remember him? World champion. If Pep though that City would be better with this type of player, then Alvarez would certainly play more than Haaland? Or Foden, or Mahrez. However this is not the case. Pep mentioned it himself; Haaland is undroppable. Even though Haaland has few touches, he brings a lot more to the game than only his goals. His presence is huge. His physicality is scary. His runs are lightening quick and he moves into the right spaces and with superb timing. Defenders are forced to pay special attention to him all the time, and this must create room for his teammates. The easiest for City and Pep would have been to continue the same successful route they have been on for years now. However Haaland offers something more.

Well, money talks and, err, talk walks. Real world question: What do you think the betting service odds would be for a Man City win WITH Haaland in the side versus a Man City team without him? Regardless of armchair opinions you know what side the bookmakers would risk their money.

Man City are good with and without Haaland. In a vacuum, it does not matter. They will still be judged by whether or not they win the CL. However, Haaland is rated by his contribution to a very very good team and so far the answer is : when they're good he is good, when they're bad he is bad. That begs the question : what then does Haaland contribute to this team? Haaland, so far, has proven incapable of sneaking a goal in when City aren't firing on all cylinders. The argument against Alvarez, Jesus that they didn't score as much as Haaland is fundamentally flawed, how does it matter that they could score only 1 or 2 (with the rest of the team banging in 5) while Haaland can score 7 on the same night? Haaland scored a bunch of goals on a night when City would have scored a bunch anyway. And he doesn't score on a night they don't score, same as Alvarez and Jesus. To say that it is a team issue doesn't answer the question.

haaland like a classic no9 need passes to score goals, and he haven`t got them at times for some reason.. the remarkable thing is it seemed deliberate. they played slow tiki taka and left him out out of the loop. it really is as simple as that
