All security states have to posit themselves at some level as victims. Otherwise, with overwhelming military advantage, the security threats should seem absurd. So they often create insurgencies like you see with the Israeli security state. If progress ever is made towards peace, who messes that up? Always Israel. The security state falls apart without the credible threat. They will even create terror groups when none exist as they did with Hamas. Maybe 10% chance YT allows this point to be made.

Gideon levy will always fight for the freedom of speech , many israeli agree with him they are just not as exposed and might be afraid to talk. He is right israeli politician are not thinking on the long term . This is not going to end well for both side .
