You know I watched a few Cup wins with the Habs over the years but I can't remember if there was ever this much love from our fans for a Canadien's team. They didn't win the Cup but the run to the final was so unexpected in the face of so many media types that every goal, every win, every minutae was savoured and cherished. Even more so because there weren't any superstars except Price. They played for each other and it was total 100% effort every game. Gotta love the lunch-bucket mentality.
