The Lazarus Heist is the story of notorious hackers the Lazarus Group, who have been breaking in all over the world, in all sorts of places, movie companies, banks, TV stations, even hospitals.
They’re dangerous because they’re unpredictable. You never know where they’ll strike next, and they don’t seem to care about getting found out.
There are lots of cyber crime gangs, of course, but according to investigators, the Lazarus Group is different - they’re working for a nation-state. North Korea. Pyongyang has denied it's involved.
The Lazarus Heist podcast is presented by cybercrime investigative journalist Geoff White and veteran foreign correspondent and renowned North Korea expert Jean Lee.

Thankyou BBC for your investigative journalism. No other media presents international issues with your high standards. BBC is an oasis of Independent media in a desert of commercialism. When i see other news media , i feel they are trying to sell a product. Difficult to differentiate between news and advertising these days. BBC can be 100 % trustworthy. ☆☆☆☆☆

No, it's not possible but you can lengthen the time it would take to hack, making it secure

I'm really enjoying this podcast on spotify, but omg the music at 8:43 is absolutely awful and for some reason is like 10x louder than the rest of the podcast. I'm begging you to stop using it - it's really really terrible and ear piercing. And it's not like it plays once it's also the outro. My ears are bleeding.

@@mshanga89 if it wasn't so much louder than the rest of the podcast I wouldn't have even noticed haha. But the fact that it's loud on top of being purposefully dissonant (and kinda long) makes it tough to listen to imo haha

It's April, 2023. Just listened to 10 episodes of this. Does anyone doubt the North Korean "Lazarus Group" is now using AIs like chatgpt to leverage their nefarious schemes? Heaven help us.
