Today I tried getting out of my comfort zone and drew a plant that was in a bottle of water that died, but I lightened the colour and now it looks really refreshing and alive :D It was fun, I never thought I could draw something real using colouring pencils haha.

Aaaaw!! So happy I was able to help you, sweetie! I know folds can be tricky, but once you keep these hacks in mind and start drawing from photo reference (or asking loved ones to pose for you) you'll get used to looking out for certain things I mentioned in the video and it'll slowly become second nature! :D It takes time but you can totally do it! 💗

This is an older video but I have been marinating an idea for a fantasy manga for a whole now...I'm going to try and watch them all to help me♡♡ Edit: drawing characters nude first before adding clothing really is the greatest tip, I have been doing the same thing for years and it works wonders♡

I don't use drawing board, dear, and "degree of tilt" I use to draw???? What a strange question (no offense, just found this unusual). Do people really pay attention to such things? Skills matter more than the supplies you use or what angle you hold them in, so focus on sharpening your skills in anatomy, perspective, balance, etc. instead :) An artist who masters these skills can use any medium they'd like without worry; even low end supplies ♡ I hope this helps! :D +greg peek

Thank you for the video request ♡ Hmmm...an acrylic pai ting tutorial...There are countless techniques and methods when it comes to blending paint, and every painter has their own personal way of doing it (which is what makes up their style) The best way to learn is simply to work at it and experiment; be brave and play around with it. I'm completely self taught and I have my own unique style of painting (which is only obvious when you see my paintings in person), and I'm not comfortable sharing my personal painting techniques ^__^;; I'm sorry, dear. if its possible, is there a way you can show examples of you drawing what you just described about the folds? The same way you explained how you would approach drawing arms and Can we see you use all 7 types of the folds on a character? basically the spiral, drop, zig zag, pipe, diaper, half lock, and inert folds.

OMG When I draw folds, I just draw them according to how the body, object, or breeze manipulates the fabric ♡ I've never used technical terms for anything concerning my art before (except terms like "perspective", "proportion", "anatomy") XD So when I read the names of the different folds you listed, I was like "OMG there really is a name for everything!" I'd definetly make a video on this topic, but I don't usually teach using technical terms cuz it can confuse ppl ans take away from what's being taught ♡ +Jjuan Ringgold
