In OTR, Stacey's face design was basically saying " I am evil", since the first time she appears. The only thing I didn't like I that " Evil Steacy", doesn't show any surprise face, when she realizes she is about to die.

I never even checked out dead rising 2 off the record but I played dead rising 2 I used to hate Sullivan but now I hate Stacy.

I'm surprised not a lot of people caught the surprise twist until it happened, but Stacey's face could've easily given it away due to how completely different it is from the original Dead Rising 2. I think it's because people think it's just going to be the same story, but play as Frank West, but Capcom probably used that excuse to come up with a different villain to surprise us (The goals for the villains in both 2 and OTR are the same so there's no point of changing the story)

I know the first indication something was wrong was the shift in Stacey's model, but I never knew why until this cutscene. I was fully expecting Sullivan's betrayal again, but the first hint something was different was his reaction. It was more genuine than Dr2. Not to mention, Stacey bypasses everyone to stand at the door.

There’s always been a theory that “Agent S” basically killed the real Stacey (the one we see in base DR2) and is now using her identity. That explains why Stacey in OTR looks so different compared to her original DR2 counterpart. I kind of like this theory for basically a non canon story. It’s non canon so basically anything goes you know 😂😂

I liked Sullivan this way.. I wish he didn’t kill Rebecca in the original that’s the only thing but I just feel like his character was way better like this I wish they kept his character like this in both games I don’t know I just don’t see him as a evil guy.. it just fits Stacey character better and she looks more like an agent than Sullivan.. Sullivan just doesn’t fit it to me or an agent type just an ordinary old guy that just looks out for people he cares and trusts and protect and takes his life and job seriously and looks out for people with his life but I guess they wanted to give us 2 characters to like and hate with 2 different endings..
