when it got revealed that the sirens were the one singing throughout the level and it turns out they're in a band and each of them is responsible for each instrument so when one of them got knocked out they lost one of the sound, I understood why supergiant went for a sequel.

I feel compelled to put my 🤓face on. Scylla isn't one of the sirens that Odysseus tied himself to the pole to listen her song. Scylla is a sea monster who worked with Charybdis to sink ships and eat sailors.

They do some form of this in almost al their games, Pyre especially to my memory, like when youre doing a final trial the Never to return track will use the lyrics of the opposing team but the instrumental both teams themes' when you score your instruments are louder, if the enemy scores their instruments are louder

@@auraweiss638not the same VA, but the voice is very similar in tone and cadence- very light like a Disney Princess but also made in a way that’s mostly in the top of the throat so it gives a dreamy/childlike quality.

GODDAMN I LOVE CORAL CROWN. When I first met Scylla and the Sirens I became so obsessed with this song that every time I had to do homework, go to school or even sleep I COULD NOT stop humming Coral Crown. I literally went mad with this song just like any sailor who encountered these sirens in the sea.

Darren Korb has gotta be the best VG Soundtrack composer in the market right now. The attention to details of this whole soundtrack (that isn't even complete yet) as well as the overall tonal shifts and ever changing time signatures propel him so far above the competition.

Oh hell yeah, this SLAPS!! Loving the vocal style, and I was missing the rock. Erin, Ashley, and Judy's voices here are magic. Also, because Orpheus is ny favourite little guy and he played music against the sirens once, this is once again making me hope we can see him and Eurydice again in this game. I miss them lol

In Hades I one of the tricks I picked up to play better was taking my headphones off so the music wouldn’t get me worked up and I’d be less likely to make a mistake. I’m never doing that with Hades II.

SuperGiant doesn't miss. I freaking loved experiencing this boss for the first time. Even when you die to the Sirens, the theme changes to a rock theme instead of the usual one. THIS IS HOW YOU PUT LOVE INTO YOUR GAME Also the fact that this is the same voice actor for Snow White in The Wolf Among us is just fucking nuts.

There really, truly, isn't enough praise for the talent that is Darren Korb. The vocals on this are of course also fantastic, and the song as a whole is extremely memorable (and frankly too distracting while fighting), but Darren really is a genius.
