"Hadji Ali would drink nearly two gallons of water, then swallow a glass of kerosene which would float on top of the water in his stomach. First he'd spout out the kerosene at a small fire, feeding the flames. Then he'd regurgitate the water, putting out the fire." David Blaine: 'Mysterious Stranger'. Just read that passage and it had still photos from this. Thanks for the upload so that I could see it in motion.

I have severe emetophobia (irrational fear of vomiting/anything related to it) yet Hadji Ali does his regurgitation act with such ease and charm that I am not afraid to watch. I love the way he smiles during the nut portion, its very endearing 🙂

I just watched Judy. Garland on her first appearance on Johnny Carson and she was telling a story about working the circuit and having to go on after this guy after things went amiss for this poor soul. Hilarious but tragically funny too!! 😂

Weird but then not so weird considering how recent vaudeville had been, combining all manner of acts including comedians, magicians,nillusionists, acrobats, you name it. Upon saying this, it's no more weird than Motorhead playing at the house rented by Rik, Vyvyan, Neil snd Mike.

+Aaron This is something that everyone should know as a precaution. Just as you can die from a lack of water (dehydration), water intoxication is real and lethal. Drinking too much water results in hyponatremia and will kill you on the spot. It is estimated that about 6 liters of water, if consumed in a short window, will kill a 165-pound adult.

Yes to drink water David blaine learned this by finding a person and he did it was a person in Africa and the person in Africa knew how to do it because water was scarce and once he did it we went on to do this
