Simple and efficient. To add, bilirubin is conjugated in the liver with glucuronide (glucuronic acid) to make it more soluble before it is excreted into the bile. Thank you!

Bro you're a life saver. I hate reading and I learn by listening and visualising so this is just the perfect solution. Also I think that heme is first converted to biliverdin then to bilirubin. Not sure but please let me know.

Sazal Hossain Yeah that's correct. C-c-c-c-clinical correlation: There is actually a rare type of jaundice where i think there is an enzyme deficiency so a person cannot convert biliverdin (green) to bilirubin (yellow). This causes green jaundice!
