In this video, we immerse ourselves in the mystical poetry of the Persian Sufi master, Hafiz Shirazi, who lived in the 14th century in Shiraz, Iran. Drawing from the rich heritage of Sufism, Hafiz has been a luminary figure, expressing the deepest dimensions of divine love, unity, and the pervasive presence of the divine in every aspect of existence. Our journey is enriched with passages derived from Daniel Ladinsky's revered books, "The Gift Poems by Hafiz" and "I Heard God Laughing: Renderings of Hafiz."
As you step into this journey of enlightenment, we invite you to experience the profound recognition that "God just came near." Hafiz articulates a perception of the divine that intertwines intricately with all aspects of daily life and every form of existence, urging us to see, "at the feet of every creature," the manifestations of God. Through the lens of Hafiz, every interaction becomes a sacred encounter with the Divine, where even, "when a dog runs up to you wagging its ecstatic tail, you lean down and whisper in its ear, “Beloved, I am so glad You are happy to see me. Beloved, I am so glad, so very glad You have come.”
In a world that constantly buzzes with noise, Hafiz invites us to a deeper listening, a kind of listening where one can hear the divine breath moving through the "hole in a flute", a music birthed from the concert of existence where every creature is singing with myriad chords. This invitation to listen is a call to recognize the Divine's omnipresent essence in the murmurs of life, to realize that "Everyone is God speaking."
As we navigate our daily lives, Hafiz teaches us to move with reverence, to not "step so quickly over a beautiful line on God's palm," but to approach each moment, each being, and each object with a heart full of wonder and kindness, witnessing the divine presence in all. He invites us to view the world with eyes that testify to a powerful truth: "that everything is my Beloved."
Join us in this contemplative journey as we explore the enchanting narrative that suggests we all are living in this extraordinary existence where "you, I, and God were all married and living in a tiny room."
Allow Hafiz's words to resonate with your spirit, let it nourish your soul and remind you to witness the sacred in the ordinary, to celebrate the Divine presence dancing in every moment of our precious lives, and to constantly recognize and revere the divine speaking through all beings, urging us to listen, with politeness, to Him speaking through the grandeur of existence.
Take a moment to embrace the spiritual gems Hafiz offers, steering us towards a path of reverence, love, and mystical unity with the Divine, illuminating our hearts with the golden tools of love, understanding, and a sublime recognition that in the grand canvas of existence, God just came near.

Sufi and Hindus have a lot of similarities. They see everything and everywhere is God existence. it is necessary to keep in mind that main stream of Islam from the ancient time they don't see the world in this way... Then This Question is important why they don't? Even in case they would say i assume that all these are Shirk! Nor does Quran speaks about these the way it speaks about other topics and is there hadith of prophets which supports the perspective of Hindu and Sufis? ... I don't think so and the main stream Islam also don't seem to me that they think that way. God is above his 'Ars over seven heavens. there is a Verse in sura at Taha you may know. Which speaks about where God is exactly. Then after all what is the relevance of Sufi sayings which is very much similar to Hinduism which has turn now paganism which is Haram any way.

I understand how one might come to the conclusion that Islam dictates a separation between God and creation based on the assertion of the scholars of religious establishments, but by going to the source of information, the Quran itself, we will find that God is not only above the heavens in Arsh, but wherever we turn, there He is, for He is "Al-Muheet", the "All-Encompassing". "And to Allah belongs the east and the west - wherever you turn there is the Wadju Allahee [Face of Allah]. Indeed Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing. Quran 2:115 "Indeed, We created man, and We know what his nafs [soul] whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein." Quran 50:16 Allah is encompassing all of creation, within and without, to the east and west, above and throughout the seven heavens, nearer to us than our own jugular vein. It was His breath in the nostril of Adam which gave him life. Our soul is a mystery, and He is the mystery within that mystery. This mystery is beyond comprehension of the intellect, hence why submission and faith are necessary, because we can submit though faith without fully understanding His glory. It is not necessary that we understand God - that will never happen unless He wills it. What is necessary is that we trust Gods word, and we submit to Him by trying to live righteous lives to the best of our ability in service to His Name, in gratitude for the life and rizq (provision) we are given. The mystery of the Lord is incomprehensible, as it is put by the Sufi master Attar, "… the door of this Majesty that cannot be described, whose essence is incomprehensible - that Being who is beyond human reason and knowledge." Conference of the Birds, 129 The Sufis are all about submitting to God with every breath, always remembering Gods presence, seeing God in all things and glorifying Him for His awesome creations, having patience with others, shedding attachments to feel the presence of love speaking to the inner heart, and so on. This is all about actualizing, about putting the teachings into practice. Mainstream religions are more concerned with ideologies than actualizing, and this is why the mystic branch of each religion all splits away from the mainstream - because the majority of people, I.e. the mainstream, prefers to take religion as a sport team they confess through words alone rather than seeing it as a way of life to be intermingled with every moment. They see heaven as a far off prize while the rivers of the Garden runs beneath their very feet if only they have the eyes to see. “And leave those who take their religion as amusement and diversion and whom the worldly life has deluded. But remind with the Qur'an, lest a soul be given up to destruction for what it earned; it will have other than Allah no protector and no intercessor …” Quran 6:70 It is my understanding that the mystic branch of each mainstream religion is the branch that remains true to the original teachings, because they all have the same teachings and those teachings accord with all of the scriptures of the respective religions. I believe this is the sect referred to by our prophet Muhammad peace be with him when he says in the Hadith, “This Ummah (nation) will split into seventy-three sects, all of them will be in Hellfire except one.” At the end of the day, only Allah knows, I am nothing before Him and only seek the truth, I pray He guides me and us all to what is best. I think as long as we sincerely turn to Him, the most loving one, we will find the truth we seek inshallah.
