This model is 7'10" long and weighs over 30 pounds. Over 10,000 LEGO bricks were used to make this model. I spent like over 1000$ to be able to build this model, as I had very few Gray pieces to be able to build something at this size. Plus, alas! I finally stopped using the old Gray LEGO Bricks. But all these bricks will allow me to make many more warships in the future. This model is built for the sole purpose of being sunk in a swimming pool so I don't spend too long on trying to make it super detailed. That is also the reason why the inside of the hull is completely hollow. This is so I can easily access the inside for my top secret sinking LEGO ship technique.

The USS Missouri is probably one of the most famous of the American Battlewagons, this ship served from WWII until after the Gulf War. This is the ship the Japanese surrendered on during WWII. The ship is armed with a main battery of nine, sixteen inch guns arranged in three triple turrets. The ship also had a secondary armament of twenty, five inch guns. But at the end of its life it had only twelve, five inch guns arranged in six twin turrets. This is a model of the ship in its final state. I wasn't going to try and make it a WWII version with all those anti aircraft guns scattered across it.
