While scuba diving underwater at the river tonight, after a busy holiday of river tubing, we searched for lost treasure using my underwater metal detector. We found a huge knife, tons of cans, and a working Samsung Galaxy S10, unlocked, with an unsent Snapchat still on the screen! Then I lost my Gopro, and a fellow diver Troy found it for me, Thanks a TON troy! Because of you, we all get to enjoy this video!

When you find a phone just use Siri to “call dad”. Even if it’s locked. I tried it when I found one and just rang the person’s dad and met with him to return the phone

I have the same metal detector and at a water park, where it was really murky, I thought I had it attached to me and I let go of it. A moment later I reached for it and it was gone. I searched and figured I lost it or would have to dive the next day to try and find it. As I was packing up my gear, a little kid came up and asked if I lost a metal detector and he had found mine. It floated to the top and to a different part of the water park. I gave him a golf frisbee that I found as a reward!

well if your going to a river u dont want ur phone to get wet, and god forbid u drop it but can still somehow get it back, you'd rather it be in one of those than a normal case thats gonna let it get water damage

Good points but I have never seen someone use it at a lake cause I also went diving I found a phone (not a special phone it was a old Samsung phone) and it was in a normal case and I went home and took it to the shop and it unlocked I opened it and the last thing that was opened was the camera
