@@santha_psk true… no official statement yet for the next season.. but the 3 seasons of the anime is still one of the best sports drama one can ask for..! The main Protagonist and his constant struggles, I mean Hinata is always everyone’s sunshine boy but sometimes he’s too unrealistic.. we can wish to be like Hinata but he’s not relatable to everyone..! Sawamura (Ace of Diamond) however is relatable to everyone.. he isn’t all sunshine.. he is very envious and selfish but also highly motivational but that doesn’t make him as talented as he wants to be.. he crawls and claws his way to the top..! I’d say.. even though Hinata didn’t have experience in volleyball.. he was insanely intuitive in learning very quickly (though people consider him dumb) the basics and making himself a better player.. Hinata was a national tier player within span of months.. he’s a genius in his own right..! Thats not the case with Sawamura Eijun.. he is not intuitively smart.. he drills all the basics into himself forcefully through rigorous training.. he is by no chance a genius.. I’d say in terms of talent.. Furuya is more Hinata.. not enough experience has insane talent but no fundamentals.. which he slowly gains.. Furuya was the equivalent of Hinata in terms of sports talent.. Sawamura is the equivalent of Tanaka.. if Audience were shown Tanaka starting out as a player who sucks and has no basics.. only potential.. but slowly grows into this person with tough mental prowess..! A lot of fans who liked Haikyuu would love DnA just cause there are so much similarities but very different at the same time.. also we get to see real time character growth.. rather than one year sports season (just summer & spring tournament)..!

Tanaka's character development was not talked enough. Admitting to the fact that he is average when compared to his teammates. There are moments when he completely breaks down and believe that he's nothing special. But he was always there, always trying his hardest, despite in inside he thought he was average. But the quote that really got to me, that changed my perspective on Tanaka, When he's faced with the giant wall in front of him, He says "Well, Mr Average, Do you really have time, to be hanging your head?" In haikyu if you take any of your favourite character like hinata, kageyama, nishinoya, oikawa,tsukishima, Miya atsumu, wakatoshi ushijima you know what all these characters have in common they are generational talents or got any special skills in the sport of volleyball. I admire them but I can't relate to them. That's why I relate myself more to Tanaka, being an average talent. Here are some other sports anime everyone should try to watch Aoashi - Football Ahiru nu Sora - Basketball Ace of the diamond - Baseball
