+Roland Gonzalez, would normally agree but rarely do we see the need for litigation. There are other means in the policy and through amicable dealing that allow for settlement of these claims. It is all about proof and unfortunately, insurers don't put much weight in proof that roofers and contractors give them. There are ways and C3 does an excellent job based upon the respect they've built with certain carriers. Insurers bank on the fact most people don't fight. Most people just don't know how to do so properly.

Often engineers and insurance adjusters discredit the impact of smaller hail on tile roofing systems. "Chatter" gets its name from a sound that is made when tile roofs, typically clay or concrete, rattle against one other due to them not being securely fastned to the roof or when there are gaps made between the tiles. The vibration, or "chatter," is typically a result of wind or other external factors. The factors that can contribute to "Chatter" are: - Loose or Missing Fasteners: If the nails or screws securing the tiles to the roof structure are loose or missing, the tiles may become dislodged or move freely, resulting in chatter. - Poor Installation: Improper installation of the roof tiles, such as incorrect spacing or alignment, can lead to gaps between the tiles. These gaps allow wind to pass through, causing the tiles to vibrate or chatter. - Inadequate Underlayment: Insufficient or deteriorated underlayment beneath the tiles can reduce their stability and contribute to chatter. The underlayment acts as a cushion and helps absorb vibrations. - Wind Conditions: Strong winds can exacerbate roof tile chatter, especially if the tiles are already loose or improperly installed. The force of the wind can cause the tiles to move or lift, resulting in noise. Hail damage and damage as a result of "chatter" or wind are typically much different. Wind damage may result in fractures to the tile in certain places such as near the fastners or where they have hit other tiles, but often the main point of concern is the fastners being lifted, bent, separated, etc. With hail damage, as we demonstrate in this simulation, fractures to the tile are most commonly the result. fractures to the bottom edges of tile roofs can also be a result of foot fall, but that would be a whole different discussion.
