She’s a very accomplished actress, earning an Oscar nomination for her first major role in true grit when she was only I believe thirteen.

@@skibiditoilet46887 they dated in 2019 i guess, and they broke up, she never really said that its abaut him, but all the proves go to him, and she already said that her last boyfriend hurt her, and the last person that she dated was niall. the song is called wrong DIRECTION, and its abaut someone that have a fame of been an angel and that he lost himself in the charecter. unfortnally its probably abaut niall.

She just dropped a new ep that is 🔥 called “half written story” should definitely react to it... and it’s rumored this song and her ep is from a relationship she had with Niall from one direction.... but dunno what’s true or rumor, I try not to think about it. I liked how you analyzed so deeply and well the song, I remember when I did piano cover of this song I couldn't stop like singing along too the chorus while playing and also feeling the whole sadness of the lyrics so well interpreted by Hailee you know.. People seem to believe that it’s about Niall Horan, her ex-boyfriend. Hence the title being Wrong Direction, which seems to be a nod to “One Direction” 😕

This song is part of one of her EPs “Half Written Story” and this is partly about somebody else. “Guess I was crazy to give you my body my mind don’t know what I was thinking till then everyone thinks that you’re somebody else, you even convinced yourself” this is less about Hailee (the artist) but more about another person. Her whole EP is mostly filled with songs like this. I refer to them as revenge songs in a way. It’s said that the person she’s singing about has the other half of the story but never released that half of the music.

Speculating is fun :P So listening to this one I'm thinking about how Niall said he sometimes writes songs where he flips the narrative, like he writes it from the I-person even though when it happened he was on the other side. This song makes me think about HIS song from his last album: Bend the rules. It is so heartbreaking and could be the twin to this one. Or not. But again, fun to speculate, as he said he lost someone he loved because he was really really bad at communicating. If he either cheated or made her believe it and feel horrible about herself with his carelessness, then these two songs make perfect sense.

@@reemy8245 I agree...I think it's both the fact that it's from her view and the fact that they are both young (probably each one's first real adult relationship). Niall felt the hurt too, obviously, and I refuse to believe that his ego is that big. But, singers DO embellish stuff, so. I'm not saying Niall wasn't at fault in some way. But I think it's both of them.

The story is this is about her time with One Direction member Niall Horan and that he may not have been faithful, hence the name of the song Wrong Direction.
