Hailey literally answered exactly as I would. Come on, we are always full of “it’s 2021”, but we judge someone who has never been to therapy? I go, but I know it’s not for everyone or some people aren’t ready/can’t afford it. Also, what’s wrong with splitting the bill? Heck, sometimes I even want to pay for the whole thing when I go out on a date with my boyfriend… so outdated to say that the man has to pay for everything. It’s nice, of course, but shouldn’t be expected always

I think the confusion with 50/50 is the man/ woman who decides to take you on the date asks to split the bill after they already took you out. If your the date and you ask to split it, it’s polite and normal. But if a man took me out to a fancy restaurant then asked to split 50/50 when the bill arrived I would be a little shocked.

the going through someone's phone one is a red flag but not in the way they're saying! it's not an isolated event. it makes me wonder what your partner has done/said that made you feel compelled to look through their phone to begin with. in my experience, feeling like you have to go through someone's phone is a red flag on the PARTNER, not you!!
