A&M pulled the plug way too early. Look at Michael Waltrip. Successful, famous, took 462 races to get his first win. Deegan was fast, drove clean, drove safe and was just learning. Third overall in Arca means she has talent, same with her K&N Nascar wins. If Nascar doesn't work out though, she is one of the best dirt racers in the country. She could get more dirt championships anytime she wants.

I don't know a ton about racing, but why do they pay for a crew chief if the driver has to know everything?

She needs to get seat time in late models, find a team practice Wednesday race on Saturday. Find a Mentor like Harvick or Mark Martin and take there input and get seat time and more seat time then get a ride.

Can't compare her to Danica. Danica was driving a Stewart/HASS car back when Stewart/HASS was putting good cars on the track. Further, they had multiple drivers with which to exchange info. AM is a One car team with nowhere near the best equipment and garage techs.

I think Josh Berry finished 27th in the Xfinity race on Saturday in the AM #15. Different driver same result, and don"t give me the crap it was his first time in the car.

The only records she’s going to shatter are the “best woman” or some other diversity record. Danica wasn’t that great either. We don’t want DEI drivers. We would rather have good drivers. What’s really shitty is someone is “more important” because of a following (again diversity) rather than uhhh…you know…racing? If she does good, great! But just like Danica, she had a seat that someone more deserving should have had. Oh yeah now we are playing the “needing a mentor” thing. It’s not her fault. It’s her equipment. It’s her team. It’s her crew chief. Blah blah blah. A lot of women just aren’t interested in racing. There’s nothing wrong with that. Let’s just let one come organically when the time comes rather than shoving one through the ranks only to be mediocre.

I really hope Hailie stays in NASCAR as a woman working in a man's world as I did for 20 years I understand maybe a little bit of what she goes through and it's hard. I want whatever is best for Hailie and whatever she wants I wish you all the best and I'm always behind her 100%

She's failed to live up to the hype since day one. Every race she's won were "bump-n-run," never domination. As for Danica, She's won one race. A rain shortened, non points, exhibition race in Japan in which half the teams didn't attend. Talent and success should be the benchmark for drivers, not gender and or money.

A&M is trying to make a name for themselves too quick. They only run one car in the series. Wasn't her fault at all. None of these drivers are getting any seat time since COVID. Hopefully she has fun in Indy cars.

She needs to take a break from everything including social media before making any further bad decisions that all involved know they wont end well. She lacks situational awareness and real race craft to keep herself out of trouble-a very bad combo to miss which can't be taught. She does has great drive and motivation-if I was "coaching" her, ditch the social media, go see Frank Hawley and she will learn far more than how to handle a dragster. She should visit Erica Enders also. I think Hallie would do well in NHRA and pull new fans with her. Forget nascar that door is closed.

Deegan's first race, in the NASCAR big leagues, was October 2020. She finished 16th, but people forget she was also TWO laps down. Not much improvement since then. The stats/facts don't lie, but her SIMPS damn sure do, though.

I wish that Hailie would go to IMSA or Indy Car or even to truck racing off road, anything interesting instead of boring NASCAR! She seems to do well in the road and street type settings, but this round and round and round bull sh*t is just so blah to watch. She's the problem

There are no women and will be no women who will be successful in top tier racing series. They don't have a feel for ill handling cars and how to deal withi it or fix it. They don't have the technical backround and seat of th pants feel. This isn't NHRA where you get a top tuner and hold on for 4-7 seconds in a straight line.

At least Hailie isn't trying to beat Danica's record for the most wrecked cars in a season! I'm a great supporter of Deegan. Go Hailie! My thought is she should approach Mark Martin for some lessons.

You have to have talent to be able to be a race car driver. She doesn't have any just like Danica, didn't? She just wants a free ride. All those years she spent in the archive series and k and n West. She didn't learn anything. She should have but she didn't and those winds that she has.
