Hello, everyone! :)
Here's a relaxing hair video for you. I straighten and brush my hair, style it, and then brush your hair as well while whispering comforting things to you and rambling about my day. This video ended up being a bit more random that I had intended, but I hope you enjoy it anyway. More to come soon, along with the promised second microphone test. :)

Yeah I felt unique because no one seemed to know what it was. The selection of videos were small. Violet is my favorite too. She's a natural. I think I got desensitized because my asmr reaction is pretty weak. It used to go crazy, I miss that.

It's so interesting how this was almost everyone's first ASMR video, it was mine as well. I remember getting pleasant tingles when I was younger, then a few years back I watched a hair tutorial where the girl was brushing along her scalp and parting her hair with her nails and it gave me the tingles. I typed in to youtube "girl brushing hair", feeling like a creep, then I found this video and watched it and suddenly it all clicked. Thus began my journey into ASMR; the most helpful stress and sleep aid ever.

This was the first ASMR video I ever watched. I used to watch makeup and hair tutorials to help me relax and I had no idea there was a whole genre of videos dedicated to ASMR and relaxation. I didn’t even know their was a name for tingles lol. So thank you for introducing me to this world a decade ago.

I love how your videos and comment section are filled with OG ASMR viewers who also keep coming back moren then a DECADE later to experience a feeling we all chase that only you and a few other long time ASMRtists can produce. While I do love new ASMR & and seeing everyone's individuality and themes, roleplays.... it feels more like entertainment than truly being for the purpose of nonchalantly replicating an experience many of us had but could not explain. Out of all the ASMR videos I've seen, I always end up coming back to this one the most. The sound levels, along with the amount of talking and brushing (not necessarily at the same time) is just perfect. Even the lack of background noise, the pitch of the voice, and the distance of the camera... simply one of the best out there.

Whatever happened regarding to Violet, to this day she is STILL a top favorite ASMR artist of mine. Probably one of the best for me hands down after all these years! Just letting her and everyone know that although she has stopped making her amazing videos, (regardless of the reasons) that she still has a huge impact on me by helping me sleep and even helping when I'm feeling anxious! Sometimes I feel a little silly for watching these, and sometimes I feel slightly upset that I am not doing something more productive during this time, but I allways come back to the fact that if I wasn't watching this, my anxiety attacks would be making me feel like im having a heart attack, so when im having one, these videos ACTUALLY make me feel like i might be falling asleep! and I never sleep. I feel like they try to do WAY too much these days. They go overboard trying to different things and come up with different triggers but almost none of it works anywhere near as well as early ASMR videos do. The problem is their audience is new to it, so they don't even realize that it's not actually good asmr and can't provide proper feedback I mean honestly, just whispering alone is one of the best triggers, and yet I sometimes cannot find whispering videos on newer channels. It's funny but I really think ASMR is one of the few positive things that has got worse over time besides music LOL For me, GentleWhispering is still the 2nd best ASMR ever, and she's literally the first to ever do it on youtube. My favorite is Heather Feather and she's super old school too.

I just want to say thankyou because I got my first tingles from Dan tdm when it was a Christmas vlog and your the first ASMR youtuber I watched but now I watch dr tingles, gentle whispering, visual sounds and whispers unicorn

This was the first ever asmr video i found, and i dont even was looking for one, didnt know this thing exist, and then, i found this amazing woman, and... i didnt know what to think, everything inside move, didnt know was the tingles, love, what the hell was goin on with me... so my asmr travel begins with you violet, ty for exist. AND THIS VIDEO is a legend, its something outstanding in the asmr community.
