I purchased this steamer last month and it made an immediate difference to my hair. The shedding decreased by 90% while using my deep conditioner. I have used it every wash day since and am completely happy with the resulting shine, retention and moisture levels. I've been stealing my hair since May of 2015 and I absolutely love it! I have a different brand but its the exact same setup. everything that you said about steaming is true and I have noticed a huge difference in my hair's manageability. before I started steaming my hair is to tangle and shed a lot. I don't have those problems anymore. my hair also is much shinier and it's grown faster. I'm definitely going to share this video so that my friends can get a more detailed explanation on the importance of steaming.

I brought a hair steamer on amazon weeks ago and for the life of me could not get it to work thinking it was defected . after watching huetiful trouble shooting videos I realized I did not lift the cup to actually attached to the unit . after watching your videos I have a mini salon in my home now lol. being a native new yorker living in Seattle who transition 2 years have been inspired by your videos as well as other naturalistas.

Hey Mo! I've had a steamer since spring of 2012. I bought the Heutiful steamer to help me with my color treated hair since it was dry. It helped so much. I cut the color out since then, but continue to use the steamer. My hair is moisturized so I don't have to spritz a lot of water in my hair during the week or use as many products. I deep condition my hair before washing which helps with defanging and adds so much more slip, and I don't have to spend that much time in the shower.

Ladies, I have been waiting for the Huetiful hair steamer to resell their steamer since Mo uses it often. While it is a bit more expensive, it is available for purchase on their site. You may be able to buy it quicker than you can the Kiss redpro! I know I am excited.

got one at my local beauty supply store for 99 bucks. and I've used it twice already and I see a huge difference. especially since coloring my natural hair. best investment every!

I love my hair steamer! I have one by a different brand, but it's the exact thing. However the if it's like the one I have, you should be able to rotate the nozzle on the facial attachment so that the steam is flowing towards the floor while you're relaxing. When I'm draining the remaining water that's left over I remove the hood and pour it from the opening into drain, so that I don't damage the coils overtime, because you have to carefully maneuver the cup.

I have excessively dry 3b3c4a high porosity hair that has been stuck at shoulder length. I wash and deep condition once a week and have to literally moisturize my hair every other day. I think the steamer may be helpful for my dry hair.

Mo, what about steaming with a protein treatment? I use Curl Junkie Repair Me which is a very moisturizing PT treatment and was wondering what your thoughts were with regards to the cuticle being lifted to install protein into the hair in addition to moisture. I purchased a great steamer by Salon Sundry on Amazon back in Nov for under $100.00! It's a rollabout, not table top. It is adjustable as far as the height is concerned and the hood also can tilt. With a couple of time settings I can get a standard or extended steam treatment. I absolutely LOVE steaming my hair. This is my second steamer after my Huetiful Steamer just up and stopped working after a year of consistent use.

I actually used to have this product. I first heard about it a couple years ago under a different brand name. Look up the Huetiful or the Secura Hair steamer. Better yet just type in Hair steamer on Amazon and you will find it under a bunch of names but it's basically the same product. I actually liked this product a lot when I first got it but I gave it away to a friend and switched to the Q-Redew because of my height. I am 5'3" and no matter where I placed this device, I was too short for it to cover my entire head. Since this device is not adjustable, I could never get the full use of the product. The top of my head would get steamed but the back of my neck would still be dry. So I would suggest getting a chair that is adjustable or going for a different steamer that sits on an adjustable stand. You can find one on Amazon, some at the same price point as this steamer.
