Hello! Thank you so much for posting this. I had my first chemo on 10/27/21. My second treatment is 11/17/21. It’s two chemo drugs. I will reach a week after chemo tomorrow 11/3/21. I have noticed my hair thinning a bit but I’ve always had fine thin hair. My scalp does hurt though. There are times it feels like someone is pulling on my hair, so I’m sure it won’t be too long now. I want to thank you for sharing your journey and this video. I think you are very brave. I also wanted to ask you if you had a video about your mediport. I see your incision and I’m getting mine next week. Do you find that it made treatment easier? Do you think it caused any side effects like heart burn? Thank you so much. Jamie

I am 29 and was just diagnosed with breast cancer, invasive ductal carcinoma. I’m not sure if I’m wanting to wear a wig or just embrace the hair loss. I am meeting with my surgeon in a couple weeks to find out if chemo or surgery will be first. Seeing your video has made me less nervous and feeling like I can still be beautiful even on this incredibly difficult journey so thank you! ❤️

Bless you my dear my four year old granddaughter is going through chemo right now six treatments down nineteen more to go her hair started falling out three days ago she had long blonde hair down to her butt my daughter took her to get it cut shoulder length and colored purple like Mal from Disney's descendents so she could have a little fun and get use to shorter hair they've explained to her what's happening and she's soooooo brave and said it's okay it'll grow back* she had a wilms tumor lost one kidney but she's strong God bless you all stay positive and strong in your fight your in my prayers

Omggg Mag. I really felt what you felt when you got shaved. Hair is one that make us beautiful. Mostly to us girls. My hair also fell after the my first session of chemotherapy. At home I brush it and so many hair go with the comb.😭 I cried when that happened to me. I really feel you when I watch this vid and I cried also when you are brushing your hair.. Good for you. You find a replacement a wig😍 Now I am bald and no hair or atleast wig to cover it. Huhi imiss my hair.

i've been diagnosed with lymphoma almost 2 months ago and have completed my first cycle of chemo. i too am suffering from hair loss and i really relate to the frustration of seeing hair everywhere and the fear of washing it. i've had long hair for most of my life and making the decision to cut my hair shoulder length was a really tough decision for me but i did it because seeing my long hair fall was really traumatizing. after watching your video, it gave me more strength and confidence that going bald will be fine for me, that it will give me more relief than harm. stay beautiful, stay positive and i wish you a speedy recovery 🌻❤️

I have stage four colon cancer and I have nooo one to talk to and I'm 40yrs old I was diagnosed in 03/17/2018 and its awful to say but I wanna just give up sometimes I've stopped going to my chemo because i didn't have any funds for the gas it was a total of an 221 miles there and back I begged for help but everybody turned me away but anywany seeing u makes me smile you have so much beauty and strength 💪 keep fighting sweetie !😘

Watching your videos makes my heart heavy, an tears come to my eyes. My gramma jake had cancer... she unfortunately lost her battle an i was only 12... an witnessed her die. I truly hope you win your battle

You’re an amazing lady! I literally have tears… I have a good friend that has had 2 treatments so far and she has already lost most of her hair. Me and my husband are going to shave our heads in support of our friend!

I just came across this video because I am half way through my chemo treatments and I am trying to prepare myself for the inevitable. The hair loss has gotten a lot worse the past 2 weeks. I was diagnosed last year at 24. I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate this video. It has helped more than you know.

One of the saddest moments in my wifes final days was whens he came home from the hospital with a horrible cut. My son offered to cut her bald and she was fine with it. There was not much left to cut but what was there looked straggly and bad for some reason. My son cried while doing it as I tried to maintain my composure for her though I died watching. She had the most beautiful Auburn hair and was always a beautiful feature from the moment I laid eyes on her in 1974. To see it all gone after 44 years together...it was a tough thing for me even if she liked it. Her hair all those years gone at 62 as she would be only weeks later.

You made me cry when you were getting ready to look in the mirror, you are a brave and beautiful girl, hope it all goes well with your chemo and hair grows back soon. I am also going through chemo, just started 3 days ago and absolutely dreading the moment my hair starts to fall out, I was told my eyebrows, eyelashes etc will go as well.
