I have used Braun silk epil 5 forgot models, purchased twice but unfortunately after 1.5 years the head of epilators are out of order now, that's why I am watching this video....and there is no market to get only heads of Braun epilators.... I am thinking of buying Philips epilator....

I have wanted an epilator for a year now and after extensive research, I am finally gonna get one thanks to this video. I am biologically male, so I have thicker hair so I am assuming I will end up with more pain and ingrown hairs. I will try my best to stick with it for a year before I make any claims. If I remember I will provide an update in a couple months. Im gonna get the epil flex 9. Great video 💕

Hei sweetie, thank you for watching my video I hope u joined my KZfaq family by subscribing too☺️ keeping good hygiene is unisex and doesn’t matter of the gender. for sure at first its gonna be extremely painful, was same for me even with finer hair. Good results will keep u going, don’t think about the pain. I will say that the underarms is the great way to keep clean and it will help also with sweating as with hairs theres more sweating(and with that - odour) definitely keep up with it weekly and you will see the results. Your hair texture will become more fine and with epilator don’t wait the hair to grow too long. It removes super short hair not like with waxing as I mentioned in my video. I have used braun epilators last 15 years now and I’m really happy and keeping up my routine weekly. Good luck 😉 and keep me updated! xoxo Caro B

@Flo-zj9tg Жыл бұрын
@@thechum9653 so I bought the full package that came with both the epilator here and the facial epilator as well. The facial epilator has power issues and also seems to need lube to keep working properly so it’s a bust. the main attraction however works just great. It hurts like HELL but you can always take some minor pain medication if it’s particularly bad. I recommend using a regular razor first and then waiting for your hair to grow back about a half a centimeter. If the hair is too long it won’t get removed properly and if it’s to short it won’t get grabbed by the epilator. Clean it with isopropyl alcohol and water. It also doesn’t have power issues because you can charge it. It takes about 2 weeks for the hair to even breach the surface of your skin. I’m planning on starting E this year tho too so I expect it will start hurting even less and take longer to grow back.
@Flo-zj9tg
@Flo-zj9tg Жыл бұрын
@@thechum9653 one more thing. If you want to avoid ingrown hairs you MUST use some sort of body scrub to remove as much dead skin as possible and even still you need to watch your skins recovery and check for ingrowns early. They are easy to remove if they are small. Just use a pair of tweezers and clean the follicle with isopropyl alcohol. For the body scrub I use coffee grounds with olive oil. But you can use a store bought one as well.

After more than 20 years of using Braun, I was shocked how much better is Phillips. It epilates in one pass and takes no prisoners. It has not plastic, but ceramic disks and Braun is no match for it.

I bought the Braun 9-975. I don't regret it, of course it has some drawbacks, it's painful, it's design is not really ergonomic, I don't like the fact that I cannot use it when plugged, and for the facial hair remover I hate that it works on batteries. But it is really helpful, I was shaving my armpits my entire life (hair was thick) and honestly it saved my life. Very useful for legs also and do the job quickly, it makes me avoid the wax mess. I did my bought legs in less than 30 mins and did also my armpits. So I think when it comes to autonomy it does the job. Facial epilator is also quick but I think it doesn't remove the hair from the roots. I didn't test the other accessories I find them to be useless. I was hesitating to buy the flex 9, but as it is flexible, it could be fragile and can be broken so easily 🤔
@carolynzik
@carolynzik 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you 🙏🏼 for your interaction, tips and comment! I was also hestating if to get the flex 9 , I thought the same especially if travel these things usually break easily. I like the classic models for the comfort. I have used long time and i like that epilating is so easy and quick. Ofc it’s sensitive procedure even if have used for ages. Its more cost effective as if you pay for waxing in salon or keep buying razors 🪒

Im really happy with mine. It depends what ares you do , you have to stretch the skin with your hand 🤚 especially if underarm areas. If skin is wrinkly then needs to be stretched and don’t push on the skin too hard and any type of hair removal ehich is pulling hair out will be slightly uncomfortable like wax or epilating, laser and so on. Hope it helps

@carolynzik
@carolynzik 3 жыл бұрын
hei love. theres no weird question. Of course you can. Hair removal is unsex treatment and is really beneficial to make hair more thin on these areas and slow down the hair growth. I especially recommend for men epilator underarm which will reduce sweating and smell. when you do epilating then dont use razor. you can use on hair which is few millimate long or if its too long when you will use first time the cut tiny shorter. It defiantly is uncomfortable to use at first but you will get used to it. best practice is to stretch out your arm up and keep skin tight and then with other hand stretch. Let me know how you get on with it. Maybe first tarter with legs to get used to with the epilator and the slight pain and the underarms as its more sensitive area. I hope it helps! xoxo Caro B
