For the bald guy, I wouldn’t call it a kink but some guys really, really like their head to be bald bald. Not making fun of anyone but it’s a thing. More power to them. Yes it can be trouble some but being bald and the moisturizing is a feel good for them. His choices of words made me laugh. Just glad he could pull through it and have a nice bald head. :)

Part of why we tell people with long hair to tie it up in any sort of activity involving athletics or heavy equipment is because if your hair catches on to something, you can tear your scalp off. Why people choose waxing for their hair is beyond my logic.

@bassunderscoreharmonic6689
@bassunderscoreharmonic6689 3 жыл бұрын
@@SElyas96 Not at all? Just shave your hair short if you want to look bald. Also in not sure if you're referring to body hair, but body hair, obviously is much less dense than the hair on our scalp, or sometimes even faces. Hair is very strong and if you had enough human hair, you could use it to life heavy objects. The hair on our bodies is more sparse so it's not going to be as strong and will have an easier time with waxing. But to say that waxing is the only way to remove dense hair is pretty incorrect.

@@SElyas96 Waxing is in no way the only option for a lot of hair, I have no idea where you're getting that from. Cutting long hair and then shaving it is just as effective and less of a invasive process if you're not getting waxing done by a professional. The hair follicles on your scalp, pubic hair and men's facial hair; are very deeply imbedded within the skin. Waxing those areas, like cassandra said, can lead to scarring. It is in no way recommended for such areas, unless you're a masochist.

Friends you don’t NEED to get your brows waxed, like Cass said. I’ve never once waxed my brows and I get compliments all the time! I recommend the tiny brow razors (they have small brow razors and slightly bigger facial razors- I use both but you gotta be careful with the facial ones because the blade is longer for the sides of your face. I know people who cut their brows off on accident with the bigger razor lol. Your dollar store probably has a pack of 3 of these for $1) I also pluck and your body gets used to it so fast that it doesn’t hurt for long, I don’t even feel it now if you are scared about that.

Wow this was a helluva way to wake up!! The two guys in the beginning, the way they whimpered and reacted after that first RIP. The guy that had his entire head waxed… the PANIC and the REGRET. That husband was an absolute GEM. Such a good sport. That couple seems lovely. Solid. I haven’t waxed in years and stopped plucking my brows like two years ago. I’m both suddenly very aware of how bad they are, but not caring because all of the NOPE.

From my little waxing experience, if you cant handle the pain, just peel the wax off IN THE DIRECTION OF HAIR GROWTH (like the opposite of what waxing is supposed to work) and give it up. Also, I wax my bikini line and instead of peeling quickly I peel little by little so it doesnt hurt that much. I use hard wax or something that doesnt require strips.

As an esthetician myself I totally understand soo mny of the things you are saying here @cassadraBankson. One of the things that I hate about most of the at-home waxing kits on the market very few if maybe Annie ever mentioned that if hair is longer than a certain length it should be trimmed before applying any wax to lessen the discomfort (especially for first-time waxers). And yes they never really mentioned also you need to hold the skin taunt to minimize discomfort and to maximize the affect. But probably my most irritated thing four people doing at-home waxing is if they are using a soft wax that you have to apply a barrier oil before applying any soft wax since that adheres even more to the skin than hard wax. I have lost count how many times I have when I was in school or any other time even just general conversations with people saying they decided they were going to buy an at-home Wax kit for like waxing their legs. And then they tell me that they didn't apply any barrier oil (shudder)

I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome + my skin is too fragile to wax, it literally rips the skin off with the hair... I found this out by having a bikini wax 🙈 unfortunately I did not learn my lesson the first time, thought it must have been the person who waxed me and insisted on going to someone else... they did the same thing except instead of a little patch of skin tearing, I lost an inch and half long chunk of flesh from my yoohoo and ended up in the ER. Idiots did the whole head at one time when it should have been in pieces. Smh and those slowly peeling makes my skin crawl. And last but not least. This is why we women have the babies and not the men. Men are actually babies themselves when it comes to pain. Cassandra saying don't wax the nipple..... Girl ive ripped a barbell out of a nipple. Luckily it was only one and the other didnt get snagged too. Weird thing is it didnt hurt. And it healed so nicely. Actually fixed my prior first round of piercings scars.

I live in the U.K. so, bc we have our amazing free (at the point of service) Nationalised health service, which is great 👍🏼👍🏼 However, It means it’s not a working class or even middle income ‘thing’ to see an esthetician. A person might get to see a dermatologist if they had a more obvious skin condition like acne or eczema, through the NHS. I guess models and influencers in London would ‘go private’ for that. I just watch a lot of KZfaq and read product reviews… or just use loads of concealer 🥸😅 I will always be a hairy lady I think but I’m open to any solutions, including getting zapped! Oh man this brings back painful memories!! While I was in esthetician school, we were practicing waxing and I let one of my classmates wax my upper lip……and she ripped my entire upper lip-skin off. I had a massive scab for WEEKS!!! This was not my first time being waxed either. We also practiced waxing our….ahem….nether regions. Needless to say, I had one smooth side and refused to finish the other 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Please try the ETHIQUE SKINCARE BARS when you have a chance 😌 they have face/body ones. Serums, face wash, moisturizer, etc all in bar form. They cruelty free, vegan, and palm free. I’ve used their hair stuff and love it, and I have some of their face stuff too. Curious about your opinion on their ingredients/company 😊

Is the only way to get wax off to rip it off? Or is there a way to dissolve the wax in case it goes wrong? Like the sugaring girl or the bald guy?

The sugaring paste dissolves in warm water so getting that off is no problem. No idea how to remove wax though. Maybe oil could work?

What kind of sugar wax did that girl use? I sugar myself with a super simple recipe I found online. But I use like large popsicle/tongue depressor sticks to spread mine on bikini and lip chin area. It does not dry or get hard enough like a ball of wax to just spread with your hands on your legs like that.if it’s way too sticky she didn’t cook it long enough FYI.
