i could never do that with my hair. the part where the pieces in the back stick up just wouldnt work because my hair is so long that if i tried to do that, the hair would just flop backwards and hang down all the way to my neck or maybe past it lol. long hair probs

I feel you. I had massive frizzy hair in JHS. It gets better and try not washing it for three days at a time and drying it as quickly as possible the day you wash it and tie it up in a bun and sleep on it.

Coming back to this 5 years after I first found it when I was in middle school. "I have more experience doing hair now!" I thought. "I've watched enough tutorials on KZfaq to know how to tweak them to my needs!" I thought. "I don't think I was teasing enough back then." I thought. Yeah, I still can't do this.

Why did you use bobby pins instead of hair clips? When I tried this, the bobby pins wouldn't stay, but the clips would. Eh, maybe my hair is just complicated.

If you watch again in the direction she places the bobby pins she sticks them in with the open part of the Bobby pins towards her face this helps the bobby pins stay Better on the top of the head. If you have lots of hair try twisting the hair in smaller sections and you will get a more voluminous look. The back part of the head when she twists the hair up have pin the bobby pins with the open part going down and to the side. It will take you a few tries. If you need that little bit of support use some dry shampoo before doing your hair so your hair has a little bit of texture and support, that way your hair won't fall as easily. Good luck!
