♡ Hey Loves! This video tutorial is here because of popular request after the pictoral version of it was posted on my blog here: www.freckled-fox.com/2013/05/t... , so understand that this video is Not intended to show you how it takes me ten seconds, but rather to slowly walk you through the most detailed version of the bun:)
♡ Also I apologize for the fluctuating lighting and sound conditions! its all a work in progress, so thank you so much for your patience, and thumbs up for first hair tutorials!

I try so hard not to be critical of anyone who is putting themself out there, especially on KZfaq. BUT you are such a breath of fresh air in the world of hair tutorials. THANK YOU for simply showing us how to do the hair. It's hard to watch other videos, where the video is 10 min long and the actual instructions only take 2 minutes. I appreciate that the girls have lots to say about their lives and want to make conversation, but many of us don't have time to watch the whole monologue.

This is the BEST, FASTEST, for the BIGGEST BANG of CUTENESS!!!!!!! This tutorial deserves millions of views! I'm a 60 year old battle ax and i get more compliments when i use this updo than any other way i fix my hair! I'm saying this to show that it works for older and younger women. I have watched too many hairdo videos to ever begin counting, and this one is officially the best, most successful for me to do on my own, and my all-time favorite! Thanks for posting.

I used this style ALL through high school. It's very hard to mess up unlike all the other styles I attempted to do. Great when you're on the go.

I absolutely love this tutorial. It was so helpful. I love buns but sometimes they aren't messy enough, so this way is awesome. I LOVE LOVE LOVE your makeup here in this video.....can you do a future video on this? :)

This is soooo gorgeous! I saw this two years ago and wanted to do it ,but my hair was too short. Now that my hair's grown back out I'm going to have to try it. I just hope I can figure out the deal with the pony tail holders!

So glad to hear! And yes when you tug the hair out and then pin the wild ones down it really covers the hair-tie up nicely. if you have blond hair though it may be a little trickier, but still doable! :)

I 2nd or 3rd or whatever number it's at on video tutorials for all of your hair instructions. Especially for the textured double ponytail and the bohemian festival hair. I've tried so hard and failed so miserably! Lol!!

I found your website while I was looking for a style for my rockabilly "costume" for Halloween (I just love the era and finally got a chance to rock it). I did a modified rockabilly rosie and I think it turned out well. I would LOVE video tutorials of your retro looks, but all your styles are amazing and would be great on video. I got stuck on how to form the bun on the Bouffant Bun, just couldn't get the pictures. THANKS! Keep up being awesome!

I wish my hair looked that good two days old! Do you have any tips for girls who have to wash their hair every night? If I skip one night of washing my hair it looks like I poured a bucket of grease on my head and even though it has a lot of good body it just looks nasty. Is that just how old hair is or is there maybe something I can do? Thank you!!

TheFossilSisters If your hair's getting greasy after one day, there's a chance you're washing it too much! Washing it every night can strip your hair of its natural oils, and in doing so, actually cause your scalp to produce more oil to make up for it. Maybe try going every other day, and while your hair gets used to this, use a little dry shampoo on the roots!

Try different shampoos, that can make a huge difference :)
