Haircut Harry experiences an Icelandic barbershop haircut experience at Hárskeri Almúgans - Common Joe's Barbershop in downtown Reykjavik, Iceland.
A very personal barbershop created by Icelandic local artist, musician, writer, and barber - Jökull Jörgensen. Common Joes is a museum of his own creations. Spending just a little time with Jökull in his shop is as educational as it is relaxing and welcoming!

I love that these older, “deep” videos on the channel are still creeping up to the 1 million views mark! Speaks to the quality of Harry’s work for the past 5+ years that people are either coming back or scrolling further down on the video search. It amazes me your channel isn't the biggest ASMR barber shop on KZfaq. The sound quality and camera work far surpasses the other ASMR barber shop channel by a wide margin.

Thanks so much for watching and expressing your appreciation of this channel! It definitely takes us more time to research, locate and film these barbershops so the slower posting schedule does impact the viewer reach with KZfaq algorithms. We enjoy making the videos and are continually working towards improving the quality which tends to complicate matters - we always end up with mistakes each time whether it's microphone or camera failure (we film with two cameras now) or issues with coloring due to lighting, etc. It's a learning process lol!

I absolutely love these eclectic barbershops. I wish there were some where Im from, but the closest Ive got is a "mens barber shop" run by women whove covered the place is completely mismatched cheap sports memorabilia, and talk about how much they hate sports to anyone who will listen. Kinda... kills the vibe.

Hi Harry! I had been looking forward to this video since you had mentioned you were going to Iceland. I like the choice to shoot in black and white, very atmospheric. But sadly it felt like the haircut was rushed. Flying all the way there for a 7 minute haircut!! I know it would be difficult to ask for, but you should ask the barbers to take their time and not rush lol Can't wait four the next video. All the best!

I must say, I'm enjoying the vids Harry. They are entertaining and relaxing. Just wondering, what possessed you to start doing this? How do you support yourself and all the travel? Cousteau had his fish, and Sir Hillary had his tall rocks...and you have your haircuts. Up to this point, while all the barbers were pretty good, Cliff was the best. Turned shaggy into mink! If you enjoy it, keep up the good work!
