I got 17 inches cut off my hair yesterday and it's still just above my elbows. It's the first time in nearly 13 years I've been brave enough to go to a salon. I've always been too afraid to risk damaging my hair, so I've not dyed it, bleached it, never had layers or anything dramatic, but your videos made me more confident in hairdressers, so I decided to brave the change, and I love it! My head doesn't feel heavy anymore

I would love to have nice long hair, when I was in my early 20s I grew it half way down my back but for some reason I've never been able to grow it down to my butt. Tempted to get tape in or clip in extentions but my hair is quite fine so don't know if clip in's would stay in

@@ayajade6683 I lost most of my hair 3 years ago due to sepsis n was heartbroken. I recently had my first hair cut since it's grown back n it's in good condition but I'll look into some vitamins for hair, thanks for suggesting that x

I commend the woman who decided to buzzcut her hair to grow her greys, I just can't. I mean, I decided to go cold turkey. It's difficult, you need to have patient especially in the first 3-4 months because of the awkward stage (you look bald and the contrast between my dark hair and the roots make you feel like your head is totally white), but it was perfect for me. I believe you need to choose what's more comfortable when you transition your hair.

I’ve been binge watching and enjoying and learning from your videos so much! I used to dye my own hair, but went natural about 6 or 7 years ago, it was liberating. Now I’m natural salt and pepper. Sometimes I’m tempted to do something colorful, but for now I’m staying natural. I love your videos!

You have clients who are afraid to get their long hair cut, swearing that salon professionals always take off more than what you asked for. Soooooo, you have to do a video, use 2 combs, a tape measure and a level just to prove you did not go against the clients wishes. As a salon professional, your joy is our joy, we want you to love your look and have people ask you, "who does your hair?" So they will book with us. You are our billboard, a walking business card.

Too short bangs aren’t the worst thing ever. Just rock those baby bangs until they grow out. Training those little suckers to lay flat is a labor of love though.

@Books RR4711 dogs can see colour, just in a different, narrower range. Not the point I was making anyway. Having a dog have cosmetic treatments that they don't want or need, and usually do not enjoy, just as some sort of attention grabbing move from the owner, is a bit of a dick move.

I'm suscribed now because it sems to me that you respect and admire long healthy hair and you're not just rooting for people to sabotage their own hair with the excuse "Hey, it's just hair, it grows back". In one video you actually said "No, hair doesn't always grow back". As a dog groomer I agree, some hair or fur never grow back the same in dogs. Am interested in how that works with human hair. What you meant by saying it. Anyway, it was refreshing to someone say it.

PLEASE I hope you can kindly provide an answer - Do YOU recommend any particular brand of "clarifying shampoo" for hair that has gotten a silicone buildup? I did not realize my new leave in conditioner had silicone but its coated the hair, making it flyaway dull and cannot wash off even with sulfate cheap shampoo. saddd... my hair was shiny and healthy before trying a silly leave in thiking it would be nice. PS THANK you for all you entertainment, your tips and tricks and I love that your honest professional practice uses safe products and you care so much about your reputation you want people just to have healthy hair and you are not afraid to advise them against ideas they have that will make then NOT cute.

A lot of moisturizing conditioner, no mousse or gel or hairspray. The more porous your hair is the more it will absorb
