Nan mitan diri ti wòch goute grès can also be used positively. For instance my lil brother is a drummer and we tell him that same saying all the time; “by hanging with great musicians you’ll eventually get pretty good” this proverb really speaks about environmental learning. Good or bad

Rebecca Antonucci Check my KZfaq "chelseamaya" channel. We haven't done many Haitian Creole lessons, but I have Basic phrases in English and Haitian Creole (Aprann Angle), Tout Moun Se Moun (Everybody is Somebody) and Frere Jacques in four languages (TonTon Bouki in Creole) so far.
