Haix Protector Forest 2.0 [FIRST LOOK]

Күн бұрынIn this video I take a stab at an unboxing style video of the Protector Forest 2.0 class 2 chainsaw boots from Haix.
The Protector Forest are a chainsaw protective boot designed for the rough and unforgiving conditions of forestry work. The boot features a steal toe cap, Vibram sole and gore-tex lining. An upper suede leather keeps the water out with a tough lower rubber strip providing protection from scuffs and cuts. Watch the video to see my initial thoughts on my new boots.

No experience with that particular model but I’ve been wearing Haix for longer than I care to remember now and am currently working in a new pair of Protector Pro 2.0 and loving them , in all fairness Haix make a great boot and they can’t really be faulted , hope they work out well for you 👍🏻

@@MattGlynn how did these boots hold up mate?, I’m currently on the Arbortec scafel lite, I’m glad Haix have finally done a boot with a full rand round themselves

@@jay-jay1514 Holding up well mate, I will do a long term review in a few months, I have only had them on since May. Sole is showing some signs of wear which is expected but not complaints at all.

@@MattGlynn great, I’m looking at getting a pair in the next few weeks, Arbortec scafel lite use vibram soles and mine have warn down a good bit, I just have 1 questions are they a wide fit ?? I do really like these now they’ve got a full rand, looking forward to seeing that review when you do it mate keep up the great reviews pal👍🏽

Going back to the time of year, with them being gortex do you think I should get something else for summer than these?

If you just want a summer boot then yeah you could do. These have been warm but not unbearable this past week

What do you think of the boots? Thinking of buying a pair, also what's the sizing like. Cheers

Really like them so far, I will be doing a long term review at some point. Just using them for the first winter so will have to see how they hold up. Sizing is bob on, They do half sizes too.
