A Jazzbois egy fúziós jazz-hiphop trió Budapestről. Debütáló kiadványuk, a“Jazzbois Goes Blunt” hatalmas utat járt be hazai és nemzetközi vizeken egyaránt, mind a jazz-hip-hop fúzióért, mind az új hullámos jazzmesterek hangzásvilágáért rajongó közönség körében. Munkásságukra több külföldi szerkesztő is felfigyelt, gyakran pörgetik őket prominens rádiókban és playlisteken. Fellépéseik felejthetetlen zenei élményt nyújtanak minden egyes koncerten, igazi, vérbeli zenészek.

And Athletic Progression :) They also have strong hiphop influences. Something else I can strongly recommend is Casimir Liberski - Cosmic Liberty (with drummer Matt Garstka). A very fresh jazz album, I thoroughly love it

I can't quite make out the pedal but it looks suspiciously like my Zoom B1x-4 but the pedal-less version. It's not but it's similar and I also say that because the Zoom has a Defret setting which will get you this sound. -Defret and bridge pickup. In this case he only has a bridge (humbucker?) pickup, so that's perfect. I also run an Ibanez into a defret so I'm familiar with this sound. There's a chorus after it too. The thumb adds a thumpy, rounded attack that sounds like a Palm Mute. And he's clearly influenced by players like Jah Wobble, et al to get that Dubby vibe. Personally I prefer to use 'the hook', because I used to play an actual fretless (B4FL for the Bass nerds - the rosewood/wenge neck).
