I like how they are finally using the other GL earthlings. It makes sense that John's the field commander, Guy's the "hard case", Kyle's the jokester, & Hal's the one who connects them all.

Okay a few things 1. Last time I checked Kyle was dating Carol Ferris what happened with that? B. For that matter what happened to all the star sapphires where are they when this is happening? III. What happened to those other white lanterns and their rings that are out on the universe? Delta🔺, what happened to those banish Guardians that were helping out the Green Lantern's after the old Guardians died? ANSWERS????????

Ya know for the shit treatment that green lantern gets on screen for most shows and movies, he's actually pretty beast. Green lanterns are seen dealing with god level characters like every other day.

Ok so it was a good story but doesn't Kyle finding out all that change history so that in this new timeline his son would be a completely different person or maybe not even exist so the whole plot twist at the end becomes irrelevant

Yes and no. Often times it ends up being written that paradoxes like this end up causing themselves. Honestly, temporal mechanics are a mess of BS and most writers can't keep this sort of stuff straight even when they try.

13lue Knight We don't know for sure but the theory is that Dr Manhatten thinks the white lantern is a threat so he broke up the ring. And if kyle isn't a white lantern then he would go back to being a green lantern

The problem with White Lantern is he's just too powerful. Anything short of every single New God fighting him at once he can deal with in a second without thinking twice. Not a good story if the good guys win in one page (this is Superman's biggest problem and while they have figured him out in comics, the movies are having a horrible time fitting him in. That's why they killed him, because with him Justice League would have no tension, he'd just effortlessly destroy Steppenwolf and his army.

This story is confusing to me. I have a lot of questions like when did Kyle have a son and what happened to Carrol ferris? Isn't Rip Hunter booster gold? What happened to the other lanterns? And what about the 2 lanterns with the justice league? Don't they get involved and help out the green lanterns?

This is the second time I've spotted something missing here, not blaming you Comicstorian, the writers though... So what the heck happened to Carol Ferris? I hope Kyle becomes the white lantern again. Otherwise the writers have made him lose what's made him a unique character twice! Remember when Kyle was the only green lantern Ganthet chose him for his ability to overcome great fear. Then they changed it to Ganthet saw that Kyle could wield the entire emotional spectrum in new guardians. Now they've retconned both.
