I saw Hal at the New Horizons Showcase at The Station Inn in Nashville about 2 years before his first album was released. I remember thinking, "Holy cow, this guy has it all. The look, the band, the songs, and most of all, the charisma. Why isn't he on the radio?' I came to understand the record business a bit better; he had to wait his turn. Boy oh boy, when his album came out, he took off like a rocket. What a talent. What a great addition to the choir in heaven.

RIP Hal ! You and your music helped me through some tough times and still does ! When you came to London and I saw you playing at the Empire Shepherds Bush,it was a night to remember for so many reasons. Big Love Hal 💔💚 xxx

My favorite song of Hal Ketchum is STAY FOREVER. I wish this could be the case. His words and music sure will. I will always be grateful for seeing him perform on stage in Illinois. He sang my favorite song and it will always stay in my heart forever.
