I ask Allah to keep you on the straight path..Iam from Jordan 🇯🇴 living in dublin. As you know dublin is a big city so it's very easy to buy halal food here. There are many Halal shops close to my house and some of these shops almost 1000 square metres .Alhamdulellah

Why i like living in Muslim country is. wherever you go. you don't have to check anything. because everything is Halal. Supermarkets. Resturants. Friends Houses EVERYWHERE. But during i had been living in the north or Norway. There was no Halal foods at all. Therefore. I stopped eating Meats and etc. Around 5 years i was just eating Fish, Beans and Eggs in order to get Protein. It was difficult but we have to follow our rules not our intentions.

Maasyallah. The difficulties are the test for you. May Allah reward you and gives you strengths to go through. I was grateful that I had lived in a small but cosmopolitan town where students from all over the world come to study. There is a Moroccan halal store and a number of halal restaurants close to the city's center. C1000 near the campus didn't have halal food but Jumbo, the successor, does. Baarakallahufiiki.

The Halal supermarkets in our country don't pay good attention to sanitation. I'm very disappointed with them. That despite them charging more than the regular market cost by a lot.

8:44 As a muslim I also advise you not to be so strict. Don't limit yourself with strict restrictions that you cannot sustain in the long run, which becomes unbearable as the time passes. I knew some people who did not drink cola or fanta. They were very strict and not easy to live with, or to be friends with. Please don't put so much burden on yourself that you cannot carry in the long run and that you might regret carrying in the future. Moderation is wise and ensures consistency.

I assume you were trying to be helpful and had good intentions with this comment and that's commendable but making such comments in the name of being a muslim is something I would like to advise you to avoid doing. What muslims need to follow is very clear, the boundaries are set by the Almighty and we need to follow it the best we can. Excusing something bc it is hard and telling others that it is okay to bend a little and relax a little on the rules that are clear is more dangerous than falling short sometimes despite trying our best. No matter how hard it is to blend in or how displeased people are with you bc you are following Allah's commands what matters in the end is if Allah is pleased with you bc that is why we are on this Earth in the first place. And whatever you lose in the process of following Allah's commands and seeking His pleasure, He will replace it with that which is better for you anyways.

In fact, I didnt know the difficulties faced by Muslims in the West in choosing food, in my original country ( Palestine) and here in (Malaysia ) as well, we do not think nothing about it. In any case, I was very happy that you came back to eat meat, because it has many benefits, and therefore Allah made it halal. in general, I prefer fresh meat. A day after the ( Eid Al-Adha) will come, I bought a small sheep, because that worship to Allah (ibadah) , we will not forget poor people, this Eid is an opportunity for them to eat fresh meat that they may not be able to buy all year long . you are welcome and every Eid you are fine. (عيد مبارك وكل عام وأنتِ بخير)
