Looking awesome Boyd,i have the power loader and a couple of the queen kits i hope to build in the future,look forward to seeing the egg lighted up and the figures for the build.

I have this kit and got it commission built up and it's pretty amazing. I have a few other Halcyon kits and I'd like to have all of them eventually. Some of them like the Nostromo are just way out of my price range. Tsukuda Hobby also sold some of them pre-built and painted but those are even harder to find than the original kits.

had this one since it came out cut it out and glued it together, think i may have undercoated it then it got stuck in the cupboard and forgot , same with the dropship and armoured vehicle all by halcyon..nice job of the paint work on yours bud..

It's face huggingly sweet! Awesome work on the paint job Boyd!!!. I wonder what's the difference between Tamiyas metallic weathering powders and woman's makeup?! Did you seal it after you applied it and what did you use?

How did you cut the extra model pieces off the actual pieces? Scissors? Cutting Knife? Wish I had seen you do it! Also what color light color did you use for the jockey?

It looks great so far. I've always liked the strangeness of the space jockey. It's a shame that Prometheus sort of normalized it. As I watched your vid I was thinking the only thing it needs now is the 3 explorers to give it that sense of scale, and then you brought them out. Lighting them up is a great idea. I'll keep an eye out for the finished diorama.

I love the Alien franchise, but dont know squat about this particular kit, stumbled upon one in a flea market today at €10 (like 12 bucks) but did not buy it.... did I miss a good opportunity to flip it?

nice job, I've had this model since the original release, problem I've always had with it as with most my vinyl/resin models after a while the pieces start falling off, can't count how many times I've had to reglue the scope on this one, so kinda gave up on resin/vinyl kits, Hot toys has a massive version of the space jockey which I ordered,

Are you just doing the models from the Alien movie or are you going to do all the Alien movies
