Love it. I went to Valencia last month and a guy swept me from half butterfly like 15 times; if I ever go back I'm gonna pass him :p

I’m glad you’re enjoying! The camera is always on a tripod but after watching some videos back I noticed it should be closer. :)

Excellent lesson. I've seen Roger Gracie throw a grapevine hook into the far leg on the non-passing side. Has that ever worked for you?

i don't know how you get that grapevine if they are playing their half butterfly properly and pulling with that bottom leg. Maybe if they open up to sweep you? I asked the same question that you did, LOL.

Nice! Thank you. I Wonder if you could make a video that counters his counters? I enjoy seeing both sides of the coin for a deeper understanding. Or what you tend to do when being smashed in half guard by bigger people?

I can definitely do that. There’s a couple things you can do. What makes his passing unique is how tight he’s able to clamp my hook down.
