Circling dynamics for throws need teaching. I usually teach after starting with static, then moving line drills, forwards and backwards, and then sideways drills.
This is about learning...its very much a regular drill and its about creating muscle memory and perfection.
Thanks to club members, in the video, especially Sam & Kristina.
Honestly this isn't easy but it is very relevant to judo circular dynamics. The best thing to study after static, then line (lineal) uchikomi, but a big dose of perseverance will pay dividend. Like all judo the validity of the training and efficacy of moves rewards those who persevere.

Judo was the first martial art I learned, but not to any substantial level. I definitely feel it's at the core of any self-defense training.

Winner of a video, I've been looking for "judo arm twist throw" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Keyandon Judo Process - (just google it ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my cousin got excellent results with it.

Started in MMA then BJJ and wrestling. Was kinda of all over the place, but I am currently putting all the pieces together, and Judo is the missing link! Currently joined a Judo gym and I am not regretting it.

judo is great, kinda like boxing with kicks is great. It carves up big throws that have potential to be game stoppers. Our ground game is very focussed on finishing quickly, top control etc.

These throws are vicious. Would you say Judo+BJJ is a good counter to wrestling? Not to say one art is better than the other but that it could go head to head?

I would say that judo have the clothes on throws that for me are the essence of self defence. I avoid ground in self defence because of 3rd party or associates of the offenders. Most of the time most people wear clothes when assaulted. Rarely no clothes situation. I think all 3 arts are amazing for self defence a go to must learn for parents to direct their children in growing up, similar to swimming lessons it is necessary to study grappling for survival and mental and physical and fitness

Judo Life Well said. I wasn’t able to wrestle in high school as my school didn’t have it so it’s kinda too late for me. Which is why BJJ and Judo are my last hope in being able to compete with other grapplers such as wrestlers. To me, there are also people who train martial arts who are bullies. I know your chances of running into a trained fighter in the streets are low but you never know.
@BOOTY_BALLS

I’ve seen so many bogus videos on KZfaq too, like a mma fighter beats on regular guy who doesn’t train in sparring because he talked trash to him on the street. The trained guy went 10 fold, choked him out, and then threw a punch and kick at him while he was still sleep.

@@BOOTY_BALLS Really weird. Usually Judoka and martial arts trainees lose their angst about self defence when they realise how competent they become with regular training, skills accrued far outweighs street defence needs, yet also grow those people and value manners and are nice people from the training they should lose their ego. Obviously some people do not follow "the way." Its upsetting to see some people who bully and actually any descent person would usually intervene in those circumstances for the greater good.

Judo Life I see it more amongst “mma fighters” per say. It’s a shame but it’s part of the reason what makes me strive to wanna learn what I can from several arts to protect myself. Judo seems amazing though, would you recommend I try visiting Japan someday to learn the best Judo or I’d be fine learning it here in the U.S.?! I hear Judo is watered down now because of the new rules, I wanna learn the old fashion Judo!

No and Yes, forward throws YES. It is deceivingly skilful and break balance is very dynamic. That break balance and the reaction to it should help decide the finish throw

Judo people also train to wrestle. We won't be as good as wrestlers but there is lots of similarities in any case. If the opponent doesn't do wrestling or judo they are easily beaten. Very few people wrestle or do mma. Lots of people do judo (15 million)

standard wrestling grips are back of the neck and wrist or elbow, but I even think just a double wrist helicopter action before entry using single shoulder (ippon seoinage) the best serious answer. Is this just a bait comment? You mean no gi method right?? Cause usually my attackers wear clothes...I am good looking but not that good looking! :-)

We learn trust in judo as a successful safe landing with good support is there, and break fall confidence improves too. I suspect this is a factor in evading the action, as going with is scary if you are not confident of support. She certainly bailed out, lol. Sometimes we feel the powerful dynamics too. Confidence only builds gradually.

Martial Arts are like a box of chocolates, one persons favourite is not the same as another person. Judo deals with teaching break balance in a systematic way so at year 8 or 9 the qualities of competitors are excellent in martial terms. Keeping a competent head guard and hitting hard are relatively easy to teach to anyone who learns judo. Meanwhile the person who trains mma for 9 years and competes is destroyed in body and brain damaged. Think about that.
