Been nearly 2 years now, what a journey it's been so far. What a great Christmas it will be with 1.0 official release AND Festive tethers. Excited is a understatement am ready to strap a drill to my rover and see me some caves. One truly amazing game team SES and thank you for the endless hours of entertainment you have provided us all. Now am gonna go dream about the day i can run through a meadow with bubbles.

Good work system era. Thanks for doing a great game. Please consider to make possible to build a space station. We can send parts and they dock to each other. We can take that and stay on orbit of a planet sending and fill it with resources then take all that home.

There are a lot of things that I love that you removed. But I understand all of them [Mostly 90% are infinite trade. XD] But, since day 1 I want one thing that I still wait. And recently I thought that you may not even thougth about it. Angle Builder augmentator. Something like a beacon that you can open a panel and select an angle to build/mine from it/gravity. So you can create a 100% sferical planet or a ecuator wall. [And all kinds of controlled and consisten ramps. I spend TO MUCH time trying to do that on my own. XD

Been playing astroneer for a few years cant believe it's already almost launch. Good job guys keep it up

What I love the most about astroneer and what provided me the biggest wow effect is Sandstorm. That really makes me feel that I am in unknown dangerous territory and made me really excited about it.

Hi Guys! I first want to say that I've been playing since 0.1 and have absolutely loved seeing what gets unveiled through the various updates and am really looking forward to 1.0. I also want to mention a couple of minor bugs I've noticed persist through a few updates. The first is that the Galaxy and "Star Band" can be seen in the reflection of the visor while underground. The second is that T2 objects won't collide with the astroneer directly after being attached to a slot, but if you save, exit the save file, and reenter the save those same objects now collide with the astroneer. ie. Marbles, Drill Head, and Winch. As I said they are SUPER minor. Lastly I would like to thank and congratulate the whole team for create such a wonderful game. Thank you.

I’ve been watching some astroneer stuff while playing the game for the past hour or so, perfect timing!

I like your take on early access! Really great to phase out and then surprise and make a fresh game at 1.0. :) I am happy to wait to get a fresh go when it is time. I also understand that this is probably not the way everyone feels, but for me it is the best of both worlds. We had a chance to make the difference and still be able to get a release with fresh details to make it all (hopefully) new and familiar! Thanks, and keep up the great work!

I always thought that terrain 1.0 used multiple-frequency Perlin noise, so you had me fooled. :) My favourite bit of this video is when you asked Adam what his favourite planet is... the look on his face told me everything I need to know! You can't fake that. Classic game dev moment. Can't wait to give Exotic a go, now. Keep up the great work everyone!

I remeber when the game came out and we were playing it with friends. I was the one "hosting" the game. At the time it had problems with some cashing I belive, and it had this snowball effect when you were hosting lobby. My game started on 80FPS and as the session went by I have ended up on like 13FPS but I still kept playing because it was so much fun and still is! Can't wait until 1.0 comes out. Keep the good work System Era!

Planets being designed similar to the randomness and uniqueness to that of sound frequencies pure genius! Been a player since the beginning and this game has me so very excited for 1.0.

Cool, thanks for the update. Knowing there're 2 games basically makes more sence now. I'm hoping for a little sneak preview of the terrain update and performance boosts in the last alpha update though. Just to see what we can expect in the full release. Patience is hard :p

I'm totally forward for the terrain 2.0 and the orbital update (they don't say anything about it but is on the roadmap). I would love that the orbital update would introduce real orbital mechanics, but i also understand that having to wait years to travel from planet to planet can ruin the fun. Keep on, you are awesome!!!

I’d like to start this off by saying I love this game. Its definitely my favorite. I’ve been playing astro for a little while now and let me tell you I’ve been having a blast. I have been putting in lots of time (probably a concerning amount) colonizing other planets, going on expeditions, and organizing my loot afterwards. I was wondering if you guys are planning to add like an exclusive early access participant astronaut or anything like that? I just thought that would be awesome. You guys have an amazing game and I hope you keep it up. I can’t wait to explore all the future content.

One thing I dislike is how neat the caves are, it'd be nice if there weren't such clearly defind layers, mining stone was slower than dirt so it's harder to just "cut the knot" and more player unfriendly structures could be generated like ravines that narrow to nothing, sudden drops, hard to navigate ledges and other such things. Also ever heard of the crystal caves?

I wonder if terrain 2.0 will fix those two bugs: 1) long ugly seams in the surfaces. Situations when some vertexes bug out and you can see "through" the planet. 2) Bug with the flattering tool, which made cursor to skip areas, sort of linking to some invisible grid, not allowing you to do flattering properly. Occured on most planets except Terran. If those two won't be fixed I won't come back to the game, sorry.

So many of my favorite videogames are getting a super update near christmas! :D
