We hope that all the fathers out there had a great weekend! My husband has been working a lot so it was nice to have Church and just spend time together as a family. What a gift it is to have a father, I almost didn’t! I was adopted when I was five. I feel so blessed that my parents chose me out of all the children they could have picked. My father was a great man, he passed away five years ago. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of him and thank God for bringing him into my life. So if you do have a father or even a “father figure”, please cherish the time you have.
Anyway, back to braids! This week's tutorial is a cool fairly simple style that we saw floating around the internet. We chose it because of the seamless way it brings together multiple techniques. First, it’s a half-up style, meaning that the half underneath hangs free. Then we add sections of hair from the sides like you would for any French braid. Finally, we tie the whole thing together in an infinity braid accent. It may seem like a lot but it flows really well and it’s not that hard. We called our version the “Half Up French Style Infinity Braid”! Check it out and let us know in the comments what you think!
