I can't get over the repetition in this, that feeling of going in circles in your own head or house, feeling like you're going nowhere and always ending up back at the same place. Even when you're trying your best and it feels like things are changing those feelings are still there pulling you back into the cycle. It killed me when i realized the opening dance is being done in reverse at the end, reminds me of picking apart your past in order to find the thing that's broken. just. wow, all around.

Their live shows are an EXPERIENCE, its much more than a concert it's a whole production and it's amazing, once live shows start up again there is nothing that will stop me from seeing them again, especially with a new song that's so extremely fire

The lyrics speak to me as I child who had a hard time coming out to myself. The lyrics speak to me as a teen who was lost in life and still struggling to find a place in the world. The lyrics speak to me as a young adult who's filled with fear of being so broken I'll live the rest of my days unaccomplished after an ADD diagnosis. The entire song gives me hope.

Not only was the song, choreography, and cinematography incredible, but half-alive managed to beautifully portray the thoughts and emotions that have been running through all of our heads this past year. And to me, that's what makes this song, and half-alive as a whole, incredible.

Tori C If the phrase “oh my God” as it’s normally used makes you uncomfy, that’s okay! I am similar. But I think that here, it is being used literally, like “oh my God, help” - addressing God as if in a prayer. I hope this helps! much love :)

Ok but like for wanting to make the message of this song clear, yall really didnt dumb it down or make it too on the nose.. I love songs that are so personal and specific and yet can apply to a variety of situations because they depict an emotional state rather than the event/opinion/belief that inspired them. Also i love when song lyrics are pure poetry like yalls and work together with the music and the video and choreography and it all just fits so well to create this pure beauty. thanks for making music to feel in my heart guys!!

We come full circle. I distinctly remember another creator making a video/reference to how well this specific music video was made, I watched it, and then moved on not thinking anything of it. I've been listening to this song nearly everyday since it's release. Aside from the awesome choreography in the video I appreciate the lyrics. "Time's always right to fix what's wrong" has been a line I put on repeat in my head whenever I'm feeling anxious or put out by life in general. It reminds me that even though BIG problems can seem overwhelming there are always little things we can do around us to help "fix what's wrong" even if it's just something small like: adjusting a crooked picture frame in the washroom, washing some dishes or watering the plants drying out on the windowsill. Maybe those smaller things will lead to bigger solutions? I honestly don't know but there is something empowering about this track for me. In any case, gratitude for this awesome track! Hope to see you guys live sometime!

But the initial few seconds of choreography at the beginning of the song being performed in reverse to close out the song is actual poetry to me and a play on this entire lyrical journey about how the time is right - right now. The movements wound back in reverse makes me feel as if we were back to the start of the video, giving you a chance to make that move now. Go move your world, everyone!
