I agree... I wish more was explained because so much was introduced! This series actually interested me and I got invested in some of the characters.

Same here, this series actually has a pretty interesting premise going on by the end of it even when the first few episodes was more about jokes. There's still a lot left unresolved, is there more to Ana? Will she play a bigger part? The Dark Master seems like the secret final boss of this series, does Dan have a proper battle with him? How will Dan handle the resistance now that he sort of knows that their leader is corrupt? Dan would be all on his own if he tries to fight both sides, maybe the white master dude will teach him a few tricks? For a web series that spawned a small mobile game I really do want to see some closure on the story.

Same here mate, kinda hoping that one day they’ll make a Stage 9 of sorts that answers the questions. I saw a theory going around that there are multiple worlds of “the game” since Ana was part of an MMORPG that you play when you beat it. That means the Dan that Josie rescues when you play as her in the official Stage 8 game would’ve been the NPC of his world, whereas Josie was the player controlled character causing mayhem. The Dan we know is mainly interested in beating the game, possibly hanging out with Ana afterwards since she is a true player he can hang out with in real life, and for all intents and purposes is just a player trying to beat the game, so it’s unlikely he’ll have a true happy ending with Josie unless he can hang out with her in the MMORPG. But if NPC Dan and NPC Josie were to meet up, that could be a true happy ending since they’ll be able to stay with each other for good instead of whenever the player is playing the game.
