His voice was incredible in the early 2000's. He can't sing painkiller like this anymore, but then again he's 63 years old. The new album is great as well.

This is the first time I see Halford singing this song fine and not sounding like a cat in a blender.

Metal Mike Chlasciak is no Glenn Tipton, but he pulls off the solo pretty good. Didn't sound horrible in my opinion, just different. Rob Halford's voice was awesome during the Halford band years 2000-2003 and this performance proves it. Less than a year later he was out touring with priest again and his voice was already much worse, even though still better than 2005 on the Rising In the East DVD.

Never said he was a bad guitar player, in fact I said the opposite of that. All I said was that he needs to concentrate instead of trying to pump up the crowd so much during a difficult solo which is the center of the entire song. And yes, I do play. Not that it matters. You don't need to know how to play guitar to tell when someone's made a mistake, just like I can tell when my food's burnt even though I'm not a chef.
