Camp Halibuts first video fishing report. We are catching some halibut, cod and wolffish outside Sørøya in north norway. The fishing is great. The weather is even better and the nature is more breathtaking than anyone could ask for. You will see white tailed eagles grab baitfish a few meters from the boat, minke whale, purpoises and drone shots of a spectacular landscape. We are just getting started with video reports but we hope you will find it enjoyable non the less. Please consider subscribing so you wont miss our future videos, they will get better and better!

You guys have it all... the location--the boat--the fish--the scenery--the wildlife--the love of your pursuit. Some tips for the future progress of your vlogs. On EVERY vlog ask viewers to like AND subscribe. At the beginning of every vlog provide viewers with a preview, highlights or outline of what to expect in the video. Tell viewers you have saved the best viewing till last, this way you tend to hold their attention longer. Use different cameras to provide varied types of footage and stills. Use black & white conversion as well as colour graded footage to create a different "FEEL" to your footage. A RODE --or any other external-- microphone may be a great investment to help improve sound quality on your videos. Cameras such as GoPro- DJI Osmo- are great compact little tools for video and you could capture great stills with them too. DSLR will give best quality for stills and you should consider this option for separate stills as well as high quality video. Maybe even a gimbal stabiliser with DSLR for video!?! Drone footage is good. You clearly have respect for your quarry as well as the area you live in. You obviously love the nature, the wildlife and habitat of the place and this is what mostly shines through on your videos. You could make more of that in each and every video by reminding viewers where you are what you are about to film and why you do what you do. That way some of your own enjoyment will filter through to the viewers and enable them to derive a greater sense of pleasure from watching your experiences. Keep up the good work and best wishes. P.S. I am no expert, but just look at what other vloggers use to improve their video output and increase engagement. 🙌
