A big thank you to everyone who listened and enjoyed this compilation :-) On January 31, Schubert would have turned 225. Just to think he only lived to be 31 years old, but left behind more than a lifetime’s worth of music - over 1500 compositions! And many of those of transcendental beauty.

It's interesting to see all of the different languages and alphabets used here in the comments. It speaks to the universal appeal of music. Funny how people from different cultures can appreciate - even love - a piece of music, but can't agree on things like religion or politics. Music has the ability to transcend things that other human creations can't. That'll never solve the world's problems, but in the meantime it gives us all something to enjoy and to be thankful for.

Hello I'm Courtney Rawlins 55 years old I'm a classical pianist srared taking piano lessons at 6 yrs of age went grade 5 in Royal school of music did pianoforte practice and theory my favourite to play schubert rachmanonoff rhapsody on a theme of pagani chopins military polonaise abd schubetts impromptu in G flat I'm currently living temporarily in a care home and I play fur the senior residents they adore whstvi play them also ingsd a stroke 2 yrs ago and playing piano is therapeutic and give me exercise in my fingers and arms I play by air

Kann passieren...( Stroke heißt Schlaganfall) wenn frau sich da gut aufgehoben fühlt und weiter Klavier spielen kann, was der Gesundheit und Fingerbeweglichkeit gut tut, so ist das Lebensqualität auch mit 55 :-)

Oh, my dear Schubert, it is so difficult to explain the deep feelings when at half past two in the morning you come into our soul and quiets it with your Chrystal Sublime Ethereal Immortal masterpieces, it was probably your unhappy life that transformed you into what you became! And Halidon in its/his difficult Auditions has discovered one of the most brilliant interpreters V.Chaimovich able to render anyone completely to the Music Treasures that you've left us. muzyka Schuberta jest tak delikatna pisana sercem miłości , unosi i opada jak wiatr opisany w wierszu Juliana Tuwima ...``w sadzie grał, cichuteńko, leciuteńko,liście pieścił i szeleścił , mdlał....``czyż można delikatniej a jednak tak prawdziwie i szczere określić igraszki wiatru w wiosenny ciepły pogodny i słoneczny dzień ?? tak właśnie komponował Schubert swoje utwory....dzięki wielkim artystom dziś możemy doznawać tych wspaniałych uniesień , malować dźwiękami własne krajobrazy wrażeń....

Schubert was such an amazing composer! Underestimated during his lifetime, unfortunately. He lived in poverty and was very ill most of the time, had only few friends and fans who supported him.

Felizmente que ha os que se lembram do compositor como Halidon e o interprete Chamovich, tornando-o Imortal - a Humanidade agradece e enriquece-se com estes testemunhos afectivos. Na Literratura Portuguesa ha casos gritantes de ingratidao e falta de reconhecimento pela grandiosidade de uma Obra, como foi o caso da UNICA E IRREPETIVEL EPOPEIA de "OS LUSIADAS" de Luis Vaz de Camoes, que morreu pobre desprezado e miseravel com o seu unico amigo Jau! A todos quanto a Ignorancia desprezou, compositores escritores, homens e mulheres de incomparavel Talento, presto a minha Homenagem. Que se lembrem dos Grandes Genios que ainda estao vivos!

Schubert died at 31. What a waste to the world that he died at such a young age. Our World could use more Schubert music. RIP Schubert. You could have been as good as the great Beethoven had you lived as long as he did. Even Beethoven didnt compose his best works until after well past age 40. Imagine what you could have accomplished had you lived another 20 years or more.

Al escuchar a compositores como Schubert o leer poetas y escritores valiosos nacidos en nuestro suelo; pero de baja extracción socio-económica; a veces pienso, el Estado en una nación que se respeta a sí misma. Consciente de la alta responsabilidad de su gestión y a partir de la Educación Primaria, de su gestación e historia, de sus particularidades y elementos esenciales de su IDENTIDAD NACIONAL. Creo que en esta materia hay un vacío sin justificación racional. Nuestra estructura superior de conducción y administración, puede y debe buscar y educar talentos sobresalientes. Aquello, en todas las áreas del quehacer humano. Departamento quizá dependiente de su Ministerio de Educación. - Parte a mi juicio, del bien entendido rol subsidiario del Estado. - Imaginemos por un instante las fronteras universales que pudo haber logrado aquel campesino sencillo, BIEN NUTRIDO DESDE LA LECHE MATERNA, las leguminosas y el arroz de nuestros campos: Nicanor Parra!. Profesor Universitario de Física y poeta amateur. Límites nacionales a los cuales llegó a punta de esfuerzo personal; con cero aporte del Estado. Cuantos verdaderos talentos perdemos en nuestra Patria, que a falta de mecenas, bien pudieron haber surgido, fortalecido y prestigiado a nuestra nacionalidad; gracias al apoyo del Estado?.

Too listen to this well written song even though it is old it has a very beautiful piece .. but too understand the music 🎵🎶 must have a wonderful mind as it is satisfying to listen sweet peace of the music 🎵🎶 notes 🎶 as a very beautiful in the heart 💜 of understanding .
