53 days of van life: after we received a few tips for Chalkidiki, we do an extra loop over the peninsula. Soak up the sun with us at Poseidi Beach. Come with us to Parthenonas and Arnea, two picturesque mountain villages in the hinterland. Join us on to Kavala. The Thracian port city has beautiful ancient buildings and great beaches to offer. Shortly before we cross the Turkish border at Kipoi, we make a detour to the Evros Delta Marine Park, where storks, herons and turtles cross our path.
We are Petra and Christoph and we are on the road for a year with our Pössl 2Win R van. Our journey takes us east across the Balkans, through the Caucasus and the Central Asian states along the Silk Road.
