Transverse magnetic field means?

Generally it's a field perpendicular to the direction of wave propagation

@@physicsmadeeasy-dramrutha-KCG ok mam thank you mam. I'm very thankful for posting videos mam as it helps me to understand the concept clearly and at the same time now I'm getting confidence to attend the exam without fear. As I was suffering in understanding the concept from the beginning of the sem . Your videos explain the concept clear and this what I was expecting for.

Mam I had doubt about when current flow through the semiconductor electron moves in the opposite direction of conventional current flow magnetic field applied in the perpendicular direction of current flow as electron moves through magnetic field it experience Lorentz Force due to Lorentz Force electrons are pushed to the one side of the semiconductor creating an accumulation of negative charge and positive charge opposite side this create electric field which is perpendicular to both current and magnetic field according to your lecture electric field is applied but where mam we applied electric field we just apply the current and the accumulation of positive charge and negative charge create electric field mam will you clarify my doubt😢

Accumulation of charges do not create an electric field. It creates a potential difference.
