Carrier rework was a stealth DD buff, fortunately Beast is a Unicum player, DD players in general seems to have really suffered post CV rework. Glad youre feeling better.

Only good thing about the CV rework aside from the minimap spotting and plane range is the increased xp from shooting down planes. Makes the suffering worth it in my opinion, so hopefully it doesn't get changed, or at least not massively nerfed. Rewards AA builds since clearly shooting down planes doesn't stop the carrier strikes, only delays them.

I'm about to get the Z-52 in roughly 7 days, which will give me 6 at the Tier, (I already have Gearing, Shimakaze, Daring, Kleber and Khabarovsk)...I'm rather stocked on DD's at the moment. This is a great demo of the Halland with the usual on-point play-by-play by A A Ron...I may pursue this ship eventually after I decide to grab the Tier 7 & 8 Pan-Euro DD's first... On a side note I like this new Nasal A A Ron; which means I think he should keep this Nasal-Inspired delivery for as long as humanly possible even if it has to be faked, but that's just me.

Well considering the fact that I was given a shit team as well as being put up against 3 great players and doing 200k damage with 1.7 base xp in a loss I think my skill level is fine. All of this in Vermont too.

Honestly, i still don't see any point trying to play halland, when the småland is almost the same ship, with the exact same AA (unless they stealth buffed it), with the opportunity to have a radar... (I don't say halland is a bad dd tho)

Nah, CV rework gave it a ‘shadow buff’ though. An AA focused DD with no smoke screens, but now CVs can’t spot for teammates, and Halland’s AA can go to town on CVs planes without worry of being blown out of the water
