Was about to say only that Axel Rudi Pell has also done a metal version of this song and it's fantastic, which, is true, but I went and listened to it first before hitting post, and to temper expectations, it's far more "ballad with rock stylings" than an actual metal version. That said, if you haven't heard it, I reiterate, it is still definitely phenomenal, and ya'll should check that one out too. k byee.

I love this song so much! Thank you so much for this awesome performance! 😍🔥 Many years ago I was at a Leonard Cohen concert. After he sang this song, there was a standing ovation for minutes and almost everyone had tears in their eyes. It was such a goosebump moment. Leonard Cohen became my Godmother's favorite living artist on December 8th, 1980. My Grandmother's favorite song was the KD Lang cover of this song. Two of my favorite KZfaqrs with a stellar cover, and the top suggestion is the same two covering "Hallowe'ed be thy Name". Good times. Thank you both!
