I can’t judge high school drama teachers for the choreo, they had 30 teenagers with varying dance ability. They had to work with the lowest common denominator.

nahhh my choreagropher does super high level stuff like for matilda it was a dance show and matilda isnt a dance heavy show. THIS YEAR WE ARE DOING FOOTLOOSE I BARELY SURVIVED LAST YEAR :(

my school is doing little mermaid and i wanted ariel SO BAD i practiced for so long and killed my audition, I am currently playing one of the 6 princesses but i am gonna make the most of it!!!

LUCKY YOU DID BEETLEJUICEEE my first and only show ive done so far was the suessical and i got the young kangaroo WHICH EVEN THOUGH HE ONLY GOT 3 LINES WAS STILL FUN BECAUSE I GOT TO BE ONE OF THE 'VILLAINS' (it was the 30 minute play)

Y'all I'm playing as Olive in Putnam County spelling bee in January which will be my first ever lead after playing a minor role last year. I don't even have half of my numbers or lines memorized 🥲 On top of that we have 2 casts but the other girl that was also playing as olive couldn't participate so i might have to practice with 2 different casts 😭😭 but how is everyone?

U can spoil relate to the second one like seriously just because I go to a almost entirely white school doesn't mean I am white. Theatre people can be so racist some times, my director got me, a medium light ish dark ish smoked biracial girl mixed up with the even darker skinned girl who doesn't resemble me. I told her later and also mentioned how I so brutally called him out for it.

i’m doing a production for willy wonka, i actually have rehearsal at 8am tdy and it’s 2am.. 😶 ANYWAY- i’m ensemble but our director said i was a good actor and gave me a few other parts. one of them is orphan annie (right before phineous trout starts the radio show). so literally everybody including my director calls me orphan annie- 😭 everybody knows my name and even all my friends call me that 💀.. also.. there’s this cute guy who is playing charlie- he kept staring at me while we were doing blocking- 🤭

I just auditioned for Jafar in aladdin at my theatre school and I didn't get him because there was lots of older kids that werent at the actual auditions they just did it online so someone else got jafar, I got on of Jasmines attendance tho!
